NFS Testergebnisse

Da beide Boxen Client und Server sind müsste ich ja nur noch das Verzeichnis nfs-test erstellen

Du hast das Funktionsprinzip nicht verstanden. Das script muss auf der Box gestartet
werden auf der auch das Verzeichnis zum mounten erstellt wurde. Ausserdem muss die
IP-Adresse der anderen Box jeweils eingetragen werden.

P.S. Verstehe aber nicht, warum du so einen Aufwand betreibst, wenn du nur 2 Dreamboxen
untereinander mountest.

Nein es sind mitlerweile 4 Boxen 3x 800se und 8K

Mach bei allen die Parameter

soft,nolock,rsize=8192,wsize=8192

rein und gut ist.

Hier mal meine Ergebnisse:

Bitte um Durchsicht und was/wie kann man noch optimieren?

- NFS protokoll v2 v3 v4
- timeout
- evtl. an der Qnap ein anderes Dateisystem ext3 statt ext4 ?
oder Raid System ändern?
- andere Kabel benutzen CAT6e oder Cat7??

Mein Wunsch wäre parallele Aufnahmen (min 2-3) und gleichzeitig
eine der Aufnahmen gleichzeitig per PVR starten und anschauen

Das ging bei mir mal aber irgendwas hat sich geändert und seit dem
ruckelt es bei der Wiedergabe. Aber ich vermute das es an meinem
Devolo AV mini Dlan 200 Mbit/s liegt.

Aber die Tests habe ich mal mit einem CAT5 Kabel durchgeführt!

Habe soeben mal 6 HD Sender gleichzeitig aufgenommen
und über PVR habe ich auch noch die Sendungen parallel
angeschaut
Beim vorwärts springen dauert es zwar einen Moment aber
beim normalen Abspielen ist alles ok

Jetzt muß ich da mit dem DLan 200 Mbit/s auch noch hinbekommen

was willst du denn jetzt hier lesen...

hast doch selbst schon durch deine Tests festgestellt dass dein DLan dein Bottleneck ist für das was du alles gleichzeitig aufnehmen-wiedergeben willst...

Wenn ich diesen Script auf der 8000 laufen lassen möchte muss ich doch nur ein Freigabeordner auf qnap anlegen u. in der fstab diesen mounten u. dann den Script anpassen oder?

selbst mit dm800 -fstype=nfs,rw,udp,soft,nolock,rsize=32768,wsize=32768 192.168.1.4:/hdd habe ich wenn ich die live-aufnahme von dm800a auf dm800b schauen möchte ein ruckelkonzert. schaue ich eine alte aufnahme während eine neue läuft kommt es zu keinen problemem.
an was könnte das denn noch liegen?

du weisst nicht woran es liegen kann?

schau mal genau bei dir wird desto höher die r/wsize wird die geschwindigeit langsamer und wenn du dann in der auto.network einen noch höheren wert einträgst dann wird das garnicht mehr laufen

jumbo frames bringen überhaupt nix sind sogar kontraproduktiv die box kann kein gbit also ist das die schlechteste einstellung die man machen kann...

rsize=8192,wsize=8192 ist lt. deinen werten das maximum...

was für qnap untypisch ist meines schafft es die 100mbit der dreambox komplett auszureizen - also irgendwo ist da ein fehler vergraben (router einstellungen kontrollieren)...

p.s.: du verwendest aber kein wlan oder?

Ich hatte mir auch schon gedacht das die Dream das ganz vielleicht daran liegt das die Verbindung über wlan geht. Deswegen hab ich das wlan deaktiviert.

Ich mein am Anfang waren die Werte auch auf rsize=8192, wsize=8192 eingestellt lief aber auch nicht wesentlich besser. Bin mir jetzt aber auch nicht 100%ig sicher.

Ich werd wenn ich wieder zu Hause bin mal die rsize, wsize und Jumbo Frames werte runter setzen. Mal sehen wie die Werte dann aussehen.

Im Router sollte alles i. O. sein da läuft nichts auf Energiesparmodus oder so.

Ich werd nachher dann nochmal mein Ergebnis zeigen.

Nur mal so als Info , TCP mit anzugeben bringt nichts da es per se Standard ist , wenn dann muss in seltenen Fällen expliziet UDP angegeben werden

(nochmal => LAN netgear GS105 mit NAS1000Mbit und PC1000Mbit und E2-receiver 100Mbit)

ich sollte mal mit nfsver=4 schauen.

wenn man aber cifs/samba benutzt hat ma auch soviel zeit für screenshot
anbei weniger als 1/4 der throughput von NFS
