Bugs fürs Gemini 3.90 DM800

sorry, i dont speak german..
first impressions: nice that many web-if bugs were fixed but still:
-vlc streaming is locking the tuner sometimes after stream is closed (the tuner remains busy)
-HD rips (x264) arent working anymore (error screens every try)
-xvid files still dont work (dunno if ever will)
-the same problem i reported in one thread with sky uk HD tps (2 of them actually: 11798H and 12324V are working sometimes with blocky frames like low signal issue but my signal on them is 10 dB on first one and 12 on the 2nd one)
The biggest bug i see in this version is that we lost one nice feature, x264 HD rips cant be played anymore

von 3.7 auf 3.8 muste ich die tortur schon mal machen , da gabs auch probleme.
die 3.8er settings hatte ich auch mit 3.8 gescant , und die gehen hier net (3.9), satfinder zeigt volles rohr auf 23 ost zB, aber die sender tot

naja aber die fav erstellen , und bei 10 sats dauert es halt , aber was sols , hoffentlich wirds da keine tune failed sachen geben , weil sonst schmeiß ich die box weg , wenn jemand in nahe bonn ist sage ich euch von welcher terasse die fliegt

It should work if you set DVI at the beginning of the Install Wizard after flashing Image.

Changing it later in the GUI seems to cause trouble with current CVS. I am pretty sure Gemini Team will release an update when it's fixed in CVS.

So try to run the setup wizard again from GUI and see if you can change it there.

Otherwise you can change it manually in your /etc/enigma2/settings file.

Download your settings file FTP, open it with a linux compatible Editor (like notepad2) and look for the line "config.av.videoport". Set it to:

I just tried. I modidier file settings and even after a restart cable débranchantle in power, the lines of parameters remain but I still have no DVI.

They never will. The DM800 doesn't have an hardware decoder for DivX/Xvid Files and for software decoding the CPU does not have enough power.

The DM8000 should be able to play most of the xvid files out there, but not the DM800, sorry.

Which error you are getting !?

Not sure if you have to install the "matroska plugins" and x264 VideoParser in Gemini or if they are already installed !?

yes, mkv HD rips (720p and 1080p) arent working anymore
SD mkv are working

Hassu auch 23.5 Ost bei Dir im Bouquet, wenn ja könnt ich deine 23,5 Ost Settings bitte haben, weil ich habe im mom mein LNB ein wenig verstellt, und wenn ich einen Neuscann mache, dann findet der nur noch die hälfte der Sender, die ich auf 23,5 Ost habe, Spiele ich aber bei meinem jetztigen Image gP3.8 die 23,5 Ost settings wieder ein, habe ich die fehlenden Sender, und Empfange auch was, was ich ja jetzt nicht mehr machn kann, da die Settings ja nicht mehr kompatibel sind, deswegen meine frage ;).

habs doch gesagt das da ein problem ist.meine setting sind auch vom 3,8 gemini.

19,2 geht und 28,2.der rest nicht.

bin ich wohl doch nicht so alleine.

Dann mach halt deine Tuner Configs und Disceq Einstellungen neu und schau ob's was bringt

Gab sooo viele Änderungen bei dem Disceq Kram und Motorsteuerung und was weiss ich nich alles.

le: dudde can you tell me how can i install that plugin? i dont see it in download plugins/gemini server browsing with the remote
Or how can i install it manually
on gemini 3.80 they worked by default, no plugin was needed

thats what i done...but seems i have the same problem...when im tryin to play a mkv HD file it just crash with the same error screen
there it works?

you don't even have to use WGET before ...

Just type "ipkg install http://********.ipk"

It will download and then install the ipk plugin

After that don't forget to reboot your box ...

I think all we have this problem

same problem here with my default testing mkv - sorry guys we have to look for the problem (i guess it´s not gemini relatet maybe something in the drivers or in enigma2 i dont know at the moment)
