autoaspectratio vs. autoresulotion

Naja sind vollkommen unterschiedliche plugins.
Das eine kann die auflösung anspassen(autoresolution) und das andere die bilddarstellung(16:9,4:3,Pan & Scan usw.).

Das sagt doch schon der Name.
Mit autoresolution kannst du 1:1 auf den TV ausgeben und diesen Skalieren lassen.
Mit aspectratio kannnst du zwischen Pan+Scan <> Pillarbox bei 4:3 umschalten.
Das letztere läuft (bei mir) nicht mehr unter oe1.6.
Das kannst du aber über Quickbutton machen.

Weiß nit welches du getestet hast,gibt ja glaube 2...
Aber das angehängte geht bei mir im OE 1.6.

AutoAspectRatio ist nur für die 7025 und es macht z.B. bei 4:3 Sendungen ein 16:10.

ne ein tool gibt es nicht, ich hab mir ein script geschrieben dass dies macht.
das script wirst du aber nicht gebrauchen können weil ich damit auch den overscan meines TV`s minimiere.

In den AV-Settings auf Pan+Scan oder Pillarbox.
Anderes " auto " gibbet nicht.
Mit Plugins wird manuell umgeschaltet.

Manche TVs sollen das können.

anpassen musst du dir es selbst, es wird dir wohl mit meinen Werten das scaling versauen, aber zum testen kannst es ja mal ausführen.

As I know, this is not possible. It's a HDMI-bug.

4:3 is posible, but drivers do not able on DVI mode

when change videomode to SCART then on DVI comes 4:3 aspect ratio
just resolution is limited by 576i and also no sound then

I really don't understand your problem, 4:3 comes ok here over DVI/HDMI on my 50" Samsung plasma.

plasmas users cant understand cause they are fat world fans

i own LCD, Philips LCD 42pfl9703h, which has AutoZoom feature
it detects atomaticly blackbars and zooms picture that big till blackbars are out of the screen
but this briliant feature works only for 4:3 sources

without 4:3 on Dreambox HDMI have to change manualy or see blackbars from all 4 sides

I don't get it,sorry.
When you have a 4:3 letterbox picture,just use pan&scan...If you have e regular 4:3 picture,simply use just scale to remove the black bars on the sides.
Besides,adjusting a 4:3 picture,to a 16:9 tv by scaling it,just fucks up the picture anyway.:)
I prefer having a 4:3 picture in a 4:3 ratio on my TV,cause that's the way god intended it.

your tv must have AutoZoom option(as i remember my naibhors 42pfl7623d has)
try how it works on SCART and how not on HDMI
Autoformat has two modes, Autofill and Autozoom, i prefere last

with connection trough scart you dont have to change anything manualy on each channel change
cause TV knows when what signal comes(8pin on scart says 16:9 or 4:3), but on HDMI any signal is 16:9

Pic1 - 4:3 on HDMI is sent as 16:9(compare Infobar size with Pic2)
Pic2 - same HDMI connection but videomode changed on Dream to SCART, 4:3 is sent as 4:3(but also 16:9 will be sent as 4:3)

Pic3 - few seconds of waiting (any key touched) Philips zoms blackbars out by self

You should really be complaining to your broadcaster because to send 16:9 over 4:3 is a really crap method of broadcasting.

I guess you're also the type who likes to zoom in on a wide screen movie to loose the bars top and bottom and also loose 1:1 scaling ?
