Soon on 7025 from colosseum team

Wir haben aktuell ein Problem mit dem Board und arbeiten an der Lösung...

    Soon ?? are you really sure because colosseum team speak about fashwizzard delivered whith coloseum 1.4 but this one is delayed day after days...

    don't specualte, just use your brain:


    Colosseum 1.4 was almost finished based on 1.3 OE - hence the announcements for September


    Then 1.4 OE, came and had to get stable for beeing used as basis = Delay


    Gemini Team was just more motivated - but they have an installed patch/update Procedure in place - something Colosseum lacks - ever seen an 1.3 patch ?


    Then WebIF development speeded up, and it is something that definitely should be included - again stability Problems (well I'm part of these to be honest) = Delay again.


    This is the general problem of Competition in the Software industry, and why should non-Profit Hobby Programmers not have the same problems.


    So be patient, or do you own image/development and make the world more colourfull.

    The teams are spendig a lot of time.
    This is nothing comercial!
    I´m happy that i can use these Images without any payment .
    So if you´re unlucky with the timeline of releases from any team - spend your own time and make an image by yourself. :confused_face:

    yeh right gemini GP2 has a big advance now on Colosseum. I don'like empty aire promisses. And people who post before me also don't like that.

    damit jetzt nicht nur über das Colosseum Team gelästert wird - wollt Ihr wirklich ein neues Colosseum oder eigentlich nur den Flashwizzard (oder sowas ähnliches)


    Weil eine Art "Multiboot für Idioten" mit all den Problemen die durch den Flashwizzard Ansatz entstehen zu bauen wäre nicht wirklich schwer, die Frage ist nur ist das wirklich nötig/gewünscht ?


    Wenn Ihr das ERNSTAHFT diskutieren wollt können wir ja in der Bastelstube einen Thread dazu aufmachen und vieleicht kommt ja was dabei raus.


    Zu Ostern wird Multiboot schließlich 1 Jahr alt und da wäre es eigentlich Zeit über seinen Geburtstag nachzudenken :winking_face:

    weisst du was in dein multiboot fehlt nur boot menu weil das nervt das man ersmal ein image booten um ein anderes zu booten wäre super wenn man direkt beim boot den image wählen welche der booten will :winking_face:

    schon mal gutemine's bootmanager enabled ?

    einfach in den install optionen vom Multiboot enablen und rebooten.


    ABER ist wirklich Bdarf für eine Idiotenvariante ohne CF Bootpartition (sprich wie beim Flashwizzard den Kernel vom Flash verwenden), Images in subdirectories in 1 Filesystem statt unabhängigen Partitionen, nur *.nfi Images drauf auspacken und aus,... ????


    Für mich wär das ein ziemlicher Rückschritt, aber wenn Ihr unbedingt den Barden an den Baum binden wollt könnte ich schon ein Seil suchen :)

    ne lass mal so wie es is nur was mir fehlt ist ne anständige benutzter oberfläche wenn du die mal mit ein bauen könnstets wahre das schon mal net schlecht


    aber ich schwebe wieder mal in welten von raum und zeit wo ich das nie erleben werde das Gutemine mal was schönes kocht was dann auch geniesbar ist für alle :face_with_rolling_eyes: :winking_face: :)

    Multiboot ist eigentlich mehr oder weniger as-it-is eingefroren und es wird nur was dran gemacht wenn neue Images das benötigen (siehe Neutrino) oder wenn ein Bug gefunden wird.
