Jtag a 7000

Wir haben aktuell ein Problem mit dem Board und arbeiten an der Lösung...

    I am trying to Jtag a db7000, but i get this info when i try it:


    ***Cpu and JTAG communications check***
    ====>cpu seems to be ok
    ***Memory check***
    Flash Memoty ID`s do not match! (should be 0x89 and0x17)
    Are you sure this is a Dreambox DM7000S?


    What is this meen???

    This means that your Flash ID is not the same as your JTAG-Program expects to find. This may be due to a change of the Memory used for production (for example they changed from Samsung Memory to AMD Memory)

    The first thing to ask should be if your Box is exactly the one that you're trying to adress - as for example different hardware revisions have different devices built in (maybe because an older memory chip was changed to a newer one because the old one was out of production).


    If I've seen right in your profile, you have a 7025 - and this one is different to a 7000...

    Yes it is a 7000 i have try on, it say so on the plate to it.

    I think the question is if you have changed the chip?


    If you have a Cas3 interface, you could try to repair the bootloader with it.
