You could use the LCD4Linux webif to change the settings that is giving you problems.

Boot your Dreambox without the Pearl frame connected.
I suppose it would work fine, if you just set Picon transparency to "No".
"Yes (32bit)" would give you problems like you described.
You would also need to transfere the DM800 OE2.0 files from the first post in this thread.
Download "libusb Fix fuer OE.2.0 DM800 LCD4linux"
Read the "Read me" file.
Have you tried with a different web browser.
Newer IE and Firefox do not when you have a older secondstage bootloader in your Dreambox.
Use Opera, or a older version of IE.

Flash it with Secondstage bootloader 84 from dreamboxupdate.com
Reboote once, and flash it with the image of your choice.
It cheaper to re-program the remote, or use a Logitech Harmony to turn on all devices at once.
What is the file name of image that you used?
Does it have a fan and/or heatsink on the processor?
Does it have nuts on the antenna connectors?
I have had Logitech Harmony 300, 300i, 515, 525, 555, 785, 885, and so on.
Get one of the new once, don't buy the old.
Harmony 900 is going to be my next remote.
Do not buy Harmony One, it does not have the color buttons.
They are only at the touch screen.
Its a pain in the ass, using it with a Dreambox that uses color buttons in every menu.
