Nabilosat wird aus dem IhaD entfernt/ Nabilosat to be deleted from IhaD

Wir als IhaD Leitung haben uns entschlossen Images, Skins und jeglichen anderen Support für Nabilosat 'Produkte' einzustellen. Die Gründe für diese Entscheidung legen wir hier nun dar.

1. Der Keyupdater im Nabilosat-Image bereitet uns Sorgen. Nicht deswegen, weil das Nabilosat Team sich entschlossen hat diesen anzubieten bzw. ihn in ihre Images einzubauen. Wir im IhaD sind eine lauglotzfreie Zone und können es nicht weiter tolerieren, das über die Nabilosat-Images ein Keysupport wieder Einzug hält.

2. Das Nabilosat-Team hat sich entschlossen, ihre Skins nunmehr nur in 'verschlüsselter' Form anzubieten. Begründet wird dies damit, dass andere Skinentwickler ihre Arbeit bzw. Ideen klauen und in eigene Skins integrieren.
Dieser Darstellung müssen wir entschieden entgegen treten, genau gegenteiliges ist hier der Fall. Die ersten HD-Skins (und um die geht es hier) sind von Kerni entwickelt worden. Der zu nennende HD1 Skin wurde mit der Hilfe der DMM-Entwickler von Kerni erstellt und enthielt neben den nötigen Skinelementen und Parametern auch Solche, die zu keiner Funktion beitragen und daher eigentlich falsch sind. Also für einen Skin nicht erforderlich. Dieser Umstand ist im Endeffekt kein Problem, da die Skins die diese unnötigen Parameter enthalten trotzdem fehlerfrei funktionieren. Interessant werden diese Zusätze erst in dem hier besprochenen Zusammenhang. Denn sollten die jetzt verschlüsselten Skins tatsächlich vom Nabilosat-Team vollumfänglich in eigener Leistung hergestellt worden sein, wäre es in höchsten Maße erstaunlich, das diese die selben unnötigen Angaben in ihre neuen Skins einbauen. Vergleicht man nun aber die öffentlich, im Quelltext zugänglichen Skins mit denen des Nabilosat-Teams, fällt auf, das diese überflüssigen Elemente in den Nabilosat-Skins noch vorhanden sind.
Vereinfach gesagt kann daraus nur ein Schluss gezogenen werden: Das Nabilosat-Team bemächtigt sich öffentlich zugänglicher Skin, verändert und ergänzt diese um Nabilosat spezifische Screen´s und gibt sie als ihre eigenen aus. Dem nicht genug. Das Nabilosat-Team geht sogar soweit, andere Skiner die sich der 'Nabilosat-Skins' bedienen nun ihrerseits des Diebstahls zu bezichtigen und gehen im Folgendem sogar noch einen Schritt weiter und 'verschlüsseln' 'ihre' Skins. Das sie auch bei der 'Verschlüsselung' nicht weit vorausschauend tätig wären, erkennt man an dem Plugin NabiloSkinDecrypt aus dem folgenden Posting.

3. Wir als IhaD und Herausgeber der Gemini-Images stehen anderen Imagebauer-Teams in Freundschaft zur Seite. Es ist das Ziel des IhaD eine gesamte Community um das Thema Dreambox mit Leben zu erfüllen. Wir finden es gut, dass es neben dem Gemini eine Vielzahl von anderen Images gibt, die einem Benutzer eine umfangreiche Wahl ermöglichen, das für sich beste Image zu finden. Auch finden wir es schön und wünschenswert, wenn unser Forum als Plattform auch von anderen Imagebauer-Teams genutzt wird, um ihre jeweiligen Images und deren Benutzer zu supporten. Eine Szene belebt sich eben durch Offenheit und Kooperation.
Das Nabilosat-Team hat sein Forum für Neuanmeldungen geschlossen. Ihre Images verteilen sie somit nur über aus ihrer Sicht gesehene dritte Plattformen, zu der auch das IhaD zählt. Ein Support für ihr Nabilosat-Image ist im eigenen Forum durch die geschlossene Anmeldefunktion nun nicht mehr gegeben, womit sich der gesamte Aufwand für den Support auf die Drittplattformen abwälzt. Außerdem wird durch dieses Invite-Only-Forum dem Community Gedanken entgegengewirkt. Und an dieser Stelle können wir als Ihad-Team dies nicht mehr mittragen.
Wir als IhaD sind nicht dazu bereit als Image-Hoster zu fungieren und uns als Werbe-Plattform für Nabilosat-Images missbrauchen zu lassen. Wir werden keinen Support für Images leisten, deren eigenes Forum dazu offenbar auch nicht bereit ist.

Als Konsequenz dieser drei Punkte werden wir ab sofort den gesamten Vorhanden Nabilosat-Content aus unserem Forum und unserer Database löschen. Außerdem werden wir entsprechend unseren Forenregeln in Zukunft alles im Zusammenhang mit Nabilosat stehende entfernen.

We, the IhaD-Team have decided to stop any support for images, skins and any other Nabilosat "products". These are the reasons for this decision.

1. We are worried about the keyupdater implied in the Nabilosat-Image. Not because Nabilosat wants to have it in their images, but because we don't want to support the "free-pay-tv-section" and we cannot tolerate the keysupport via Nabilosat-Images.

2. The Nabilosat-Team decided to offer their skins only in encrypted files. They say, the reason for this action is that other skin developers steal their work and ideas and use them in their own skins. We object to this justification. It's just the other way round. The first HD-Skin (and that's what it's all about) have been developed by Kerni. The HD1 Skin was created by Kerni with the help of the DMM-developers und contained next to the required skinelements and parameters also such elements that are not needed and are sometimes even wrong. This is not a problem as the skins work fine with those errors. But in the current situations these parameters are getting interesting again. Because, if the the Nabilosat-team created the skins all by their own, why are there the same useless parameters used again? If you compare the open accessable skins with those of the Nabilosat-team, the same useless parameters can be found. This can only lead to one conclusion: The Nabilosat-Team takes the free skins, modifies and complement them with their own specific screens and lable them as their own skins. But not enough. The Nabilosat-team accuses other skin creators of theft and therefore encrypt "their" skins. But this encryption is not very good, which can be seen at the NabiloSkinDecrypt Plugin further down in this post.

3. We as IhaD and Developer of the Gemini-Images are trying to help other image-creators in friendship. Our ambition is to fill the community with life. We appreciate that there are so many other image creators, who offer the users a great variety of images. We also appreciate it, when our forum is used a platfom by other image-creators for the support of their images. The scene is alive because of candiness and cooperation.
The Nabilosat-team has closed their forum for new members. Their images are only provided through third party platforms, such as the IhaD. As they don't offer any more support at their own forum for new members the whole support is being pushed to other boards. The invite-only option works against the community idea- We, the IhaD, don't want to support this any more.
We don't want to be a image-hoster or advertising platform for the Nabilosat-images. We don't want to support an image, whose own forum doesn't want to give any support.

As a consequenz to these points, from now on there will be no more Nabilosat content in our forum and our database. This will also affect the future, as, according to our board rules, we will not accept any more Nabilosat-content on this platform.

Wir respektieren die Nichtoffenlegung von Quelltexten von Imagebauen. Ebenso wie wir respektiert werden möchten, wenn wir Teile aus dem Gemini nicht als Open Source veröffentlichen.

Etwas Anderes ist es aber bei diesen Skins die hier nun angesprochen wurden. Diese beruhen auf der Arbeit anderer, welche man sich nun selbst auf die Fahnen schreiben möchte. Und dies können wir nicht so für sich stehen lassen:

Dieses Plugin ist nur innerhalb der Nabilosat Images zu benutzen, da es auf eine Nabilosat eigene Funktion zu greift. Es ermöglicht, alle in dem verschlüsseltem Format skin.bin vorliegenden Skin zu entschlüsseln und in einer skin.xml zu speichern.

We are respecting the non-disclosure of sourcecode from image-creators. Just as we want to be respected, if we don't make parts of our sources from the Gemini public.

The thing with the skins is different, which was written before: They are based on the work of others, and are now labled as "own" work. We cannot accept this:

Ja @ daan macht das. Wir bekommen das glaube auch noch OHNE euch hin mit dem verteilen des gemini und dem Support. Denn, WIR haben halt ein offenes Supportforum.

Wenn ihr jetzt denkt, das wäre wie im Kindergarten, dann nennt mich halt Jim Knopf und den Rest die wilden 13 ähm 21

Ach und NEIN, wir werden uns das vorerst nicht überlegen. Diese Entscheidung steht nun und kann wenn auch die Ansichtsweise des Imageteams geändert wird vielleicht auch wieder Geändert werden. Für konstruktive und sachliche Diskussionen sind wir gerne offen, man weiß ja wo man uns findet!

Nur spielen wir dann nicht noch die Wohlfahrt für andere Imageteams und machen hier deren Imagesupport, während die ihr Board NP machen. HALLO???
Bei Oozoon oder so ist das voll und ganz okay, aber wo es aufhört, das entscheiden immer noch wir. Und da das eine Entscheidung ist welche bitte respektiert werden möchte, schliesse ich hier auch.
