Hi guys....i have dreambox 500s....nd m living in canada...if i want open my setup option in my dream box...that want 4 digit password...i already tryed 1111...0000...5555....all this....bt its not opening....how can i change my password....nd open it....if i try to flash with dreamup software....my box is not conecting...nd ....if i use dcc software...user name root nd password dreambox is not working....how can i do this....plz exaplain me????? Plz step by step

You have to understand that we can't expain you the complete procedure of flashin your Box.
Indeed youx Box ist quite old and we can't be sure if it is an original one or a clone.
Clones are not supported over here.
As far as I can see a "good friend" of yours flashed your Box and did not give you the password for some reason he only knows. I Think tha the Box ist used for cadsharing which is not supported by this Forum as well.
I recommend you the DMM - Websiite where all flashing information for an original 500 S are available via Dreamup.

DCC won't work.
If you flash your Box yo can set or remove the password set by your friend but allt your special files will be lost

read before flashing and thus have some backups prepared wich you can use after flashing a new image
