Hi,
mir ist aufgefallen, dass beim Öffnen der App Addons im BP, ständig die Festplatte aus dem Standby geholt wird. Habe allerdings alle Caches auf den USB-Stick ausgelagert. Was ist hier wohl der Grund für das Hochfahren der HDD?

Wir haben aktuell ein Problem mit dem Board und arbeiten an der Lösung...

Ist bei mir auch seit 5.1. so.
Was mir in diesem Zusammenhang auch noch auffällt, wenn die Box startet schaltet sich kurz bevor die Box fertiggebootet hat die Festplatte aus und sofort wieder an. Passiert bei kompletten Neustart sowie GUI Neustart.
Mit 5.1. und vorher war das nie.

Was ist hier mit root gemeint? Das Verzeichnis oder der Benutzer?

Kann es sein, dass wenn man diese Einstellung auf "An" stellt, dass dann so an die 1 Mb mehr an Speicher vom Flash gebraucht werden?

I don't know if crossepg is doeing this because I cant get crossepg to work from CF card or USB stick.Any help???

there is a (german) thread about crossepg on cf/usb
it is needed to label the cf or usb correctly
cf or usb (all lowercase!!!)
and afterwards do the setting in crossepg to the device of your choice
this works in my box,
