Wir haben aktuell ein Problem mit dem Board und arbeiten an der Lösung...

    Hi

    I had the same problem.

I Flashed NewNigma 3.0.1 (waiting for GP5.1) and this has the latest drivers and 2nd Stage boot loader.

Been running for a week now.

I had to flash using Dreamupdate 1.3.3.6 usin Serial only as my box gave no IP

    Took 8 mins 30 sec

Thanks - will give that a go - and report back

    edit:
Thanks - did as you said - except I could not use Network as the box gave no IP.

So I had to FLASH serial HTTP 8 mins 54 sec - not bad. Reboot and all was ok.

So now I have factory image loaded - can I go load GP5 again?

Box wont boot Green LED with GP5 loaded.... any help?

Phoenix does work on both 800 and 8000

Only connect the reader AFTER the box has booted - otherwise the box goes into Boot loader.

    Work-around:
use a USB cable and just use the 5V from the USB socket to power the Phoenix - The USB port is only powerred up after the Bootloader - so the box will not go into Bootloader and the the phoenix will work.

Remember to connect the 5V after the small regulator inside the Phoenix.

    Hi

I assume you want to watch the mkv file thats on the DM800 on your pc?

Forget about VLC and 720/1080 its useless. I use Coreplayer on the pc and this works 100% on anything HD.

btw your LAN might be 1Gig BUT the the DM800 / DM8000 is only 100Mb

so you will get about 75MBits throughput3

With Phoenix connected and Newcs running , you can see Phoenix being RESET and data flowing out. Keeps doing this in a loop

But this data does not reach NEWCS - either the BAUD rate cannot be changed or the data is being corrupted.

DO we have any NEWCS experts here?

    Hi

I had a faulty AC3 sender - the optical connector on the back of the box.

I found a similar one in an old portable DVD player and fitted it in the pcb -

    All worked after that.
