Hi PCD
Thanks for your excellent efforts.
Do you have any sort of control over the Card Reader code.
I have issues that Ir****to cards don't boot in card reader.
It looks like timing issue

Hi
I had the same problem.
I Flashed NewNigma 3.0.1 (waiting for GP5.1) and this has the latest drivers and 2nd Stage boot loader.
Been running for a week now.
I had to flash using Dreamupdate 1.3.3.6 usin Serial only as my box gave no IP
Took 8 mins 30 sec
Thanks - will give that a go - and report back
edit:
Thanks - did as you said - except I could not use Network as the box gave no IP.
So I had to FLASH serial HTTP 8 mins 54 sec - not bad. Reboot and all was ok.
So now I have factory image loaded - can I go load GP5 again?

Box wont boot Green LED with GP5 loaded.... any help?
post your cccam.cfg file
btw did you try using Newcs + CCcam?
Phoenix does work on both 800 and 8000
Only connect the reader AFTER the box has booted - otherwise the box goes into Boot loader.
Work-around:
use a USB cable and just use the 5V from the USB socket to power the Phoenix - The USB port is only powerred up after the Bootloader - so the box will not go into Bootloader and the the phoenix will work.
Remember to connect the 5V after the small regulator inside the Phoenix.

yip - same problem
I used TSmuxer to re-mux the mkv to a .ts file takes 5 mins.
Then plays on GP - codec problem
Strange Newnigma plays the mkv file.
Yes GP 4.7 also does not play certain mkv files either -
sorry to say - loaded Newnigma are it played.
I use TSmuxer to re-mux the mkv files to .ts and then it plays on GP4.7
It has something to do with the codec used.
I set clock on AUTO but no time displayed on OSD just --:-- ??
So set time to MANUAL but still no time in OSD ???
Any ideas

Hi
I assume you want to watch the mkv file thats on the DM800 on your pc?
Forget about VLC and 720/1080 its useless. I use Coreplayer on the pc and this works 100% on anything HD.
btw your LAN might be 1Gig BUT the the DM800 / DM8000 is only 100Mb
so you will get about 75MBits throughput3
Yeah - I need 7020 image with PPP for connection via serial port to a GPRS modem.
Any newer 7020 image able to do that?
Does anyone still have a working download link for this file?
With Phoenix connected and Newcs running , you can see Phoenix being RESET and data flowing out. Keeps doing this in a loop
But this data does not reach NEWCS - either the BAUD rate cannot be changed or the data is being corrupted.
DO we have any NEWCS experts here?
The great minds at DMM have decided to not enable the COM port....
Makes the box pretty use-less in my view.
Does anyone know how to use the modem port instead?
Will the E2 image give us access to the com port , for Phoenix?
Hi
I had a faulty AC3 sender - the optical connector on the back of the box.
I found a similar one in an old portable DVD player and fitted it in the pcb -
All worked after that.
