Dreambox 500s - No Network!

Wir haben aktuell ein Problem mit dem Board und arbeiten an der Lösung...

    Hey everyone!


    Sorry about my english, but i'm portuguese and don't wirte english very well.


    So, i have a Dreambox 500s with no network! The network card start but don't comunicate.


    I think my problem is in the Asix AX 88796 LF, but it can be anythink...i don't have a shure.


    If it is necessary buy a new on, where i can found it?


    Please help me.

    how old is your Dm500, more than 10-15 months ?
    then can be capacitors also

    just to make sure. Did you make sure all the basics are corre3ct?
    Did u use DHCP or a fixed IP?
    Try both and also compare netmask. Forget gw or dns in the beginning.

    It's not about configuration, that i'm shure...it's hardware certly, because i have 3 dream's and this is onlyone with this netowrk problem.


    Also, i have try very images...like Gemini, Nabilo, Puntal...and the same.

    most problems on dm500 was after 1-2 years, network
    starts to hang certainly from time to time till not working anymore.


    Ethernet chip needs stable power to work properly,
