GP2 1.90 - cannot activate Card Readers

Wir haben aktuell ein Problem mit dem Board und arbeiten an der Lösung...

    I Just updated my DM7025 from GP2 1.80 to GP2 1.90. Then I downloaded through Blue Pannel Camd MGCamd-v1.15 Complete. I selected the MGcamd-1.15/NewCS-1.18 instead of Common Interface. After the restart of the Camd I tried to get working my original CryptoWorks Cards (UPC Czech and CzechLink cards), which were working without any problem before on different types of images and Camd (DM7000 or DM7025). But I am not able to make it working.


    Could anybody have some sugestions? Thank you in advance for your help.

    This config will not detect you inserting a card, the card has to be in the box while you turn the power on.

    Are you still using the same config as on the 1.8 image ? or did you download new config files too ??

    i have the same problem i cannot activate cardreaders
    my dm7025 with mgcamd1.15/newcs 1.18 can't read any original canal digitaal card who's working good on an aston ci cam the newcs-config is the same as homer2@volny.cz

    Have you both tried to telnet to the box and checked out what realy happen when you try to read the card(s)


    Does it just ignore them or does it acctually fail reading the card?


    (been using MG and NEWcs for a while not without errors though) :)

    I had the same problem, five minutes ago i found the answer.
    Delete the blue paneel downloaded emus and install manually from Databse - it works. :369:

    Everybody here is without problem with card readers/emu right out of the box in this image?

    Hi there, I have the same problems as Homer, my setup i similar.


    My original card is Conax Card from Canal Digital (Nordic), which were working without any problem before same image in a CA module.


    Although I am not able to make it work.

    Perhaps I will make a complete fool of myself, but tihis is what I did:


    I placed my Canal Digital Conax card in the lower slot


    Installed GP2 1.90, made basic setup, no hanky panky ....


    From BP I installed:


    MGCamd-v1.15 Complete
    NewCS-v1.19
    MGcamd-Config
    NewCS-Config


    I disabled the Auto-Camd
    I selected MGcamd-1.15/NewCS-1.18 instead of Common Interface as default camd
    I enabled the Auto-Camd
    I restarted MGcamd-1.15/NewCS-1.18
    I restarted MGcamd-1.15


    -no luck, no picture, no nothing :loudly_crying_face:

    You have to download not onlly MgCamd (or EvoCamd) but the NewCS 1.18 as well via the Blue Panel, and also the Camd config flies. It works perfetly with my UPC card.


    MgCamd and Evocamd does not seem to worl with NewCS 1.19.

    Well, what can I say, my problems are solved in a way I did not expect ....


    I added userinfo in newcamd.conf so that I now connect to my old trustworthy DM-7000 running Flubber and some cardserver that I dont even remember the name of :face_with_rolling_eyes:


    Anyway I reached my goal for now ....


    -about card inserted with chip up or down, I tryed both, but chip down is what should work right ?
