Once again on the LCD4linux translation
My translation in POEditor project is shown as 100% translated, but when I open LCD4linux (VTI, v4.9-r0), I see 15 untranslated strings:
MUTE or defined Keys
MusicCast Server IP [optional]
MusicCast Ping Timeout [ms] (0 - 1000)
MusicCast Refresh [s]
LCD Off when shutdown
Storage-Devices: Color Back
Storage-Devices: Color Bar
Storage-Devices: Color Full

When reducing font, the string becomes smaller, but content does not change - the same "Šiaures va" goes left (if left alignment selected). Browsed the internet for very condensed, but nice enough font and found free gnuolane rg.ttf. And now fits all This is very universal font, supporting many locales. Attaching, if you interested with it, put it to your useful files collection in the first page for weather font

If I understood correctly, the only way out - to find proper most condensed font?
joergm6, no, letters didn't show correctly this forum In plugin with letters everything OK, if right font is selected. But problems, that a part of wind letters is cutted (I usually choose the central or the left string position). Didn't found screenshot with "long wind" - now only West changed to South. Attaching with West, but most didn't fit North-west
Is there any description of the wind string length in the plugin? In one day mode didn't fit the wind string (e.g. "Šiaures vakarai"), although it ends at ~ 2/3 of the screen and left 1/3 is empty. The part is cuted off and with condensed enough font I see ""Šiaures va". Is screenshot needed for clarity?
And second question (as always about translation ) - I didn't find where are translated the wind directions. It seems to me, that comes from Yahoo weather? The form "Šiaures vakarai" is wrong declension (it's NOT "from"). Must be "Šiaures vakaru"
(some letters are wrong because of non UTF encoding)
Sometime before I wrote about untranslatable dates in LCD4linux. And you're even somewhat done (some date formats were included to translation), but now Date format is displayed incorrectly. And this is noticeable more than that some ordinary untranslated strings
In vers. 4.8-r3 I changed lines:Code
4231 (Date, "%d.%m.%Y - %H:%M") to (Date, _("%d.%m.%Y - %H:%M")) 4232 ("%d.%m.%y %H:%M:%S") to (_("%d.%m.%y %H:%M:%S")) 4750 ("%d-%b-%Y") to (_("%d-%b-%Y")) 10768 ("%d.%m.%Y") to (_("%d.%m.%Y")) 10827 ("%d.%m.%Y") to (_("%d.%m.%Y")) 10844 ("%d.%m.%Y") to (_("%d.%m.%Y")) 10853 ("%d.%m.%Y") to (_("%d.%m.%Y"))
and added four new strings to LCD4linux.po:Code
msgid "d.%m.%Y - %H:%M" msgstr "" msgid "%d.%m.%y %H:%M:%S" msgstr "" msgid "%d-%b-%Y" msgstr "" msgid "%d.%m.%Y" msgstr ""
And now everything is translated correctly. Can you modify plugin.py and LCD4linux.pot so that users do not need every time after update go to plugins folder and modify files to view everything neatly?

Please create a log to see if the ServiceID fits the picons search.
I found picons by reference, e.g. ServiceID. And the same picon I see in the skin's infobar, but can't see in stb LCD (some). Checked them in photoshop, in IrfanView, but can't find a difference. In dreamboxEdit and E-Channelizer I can see all picons too, can check their references and they are exact. What log will show this?
I have a very strange problem with displaying picons - everywhere all picons are shown OK, except on LCD4linux LCD display. Some of them are displayed, some - not. Attaching 2 of them. 1_0_16_192_4_70_1680000_0_0_0.png - is showing OK, but almost identical 1_0_16_3EC_A_70_1680000_0_0_0.png LCD is empty.
Vu+ Ultimo4K (but the same was on Duo2), VTI 11.0.1, LCD4linux v.4.7-r5
