unfortunately you have no genuine brain your head.
Gigablue is not a clone of anything.
Anayway plugins work for all OE machines. this forum is for OpenEmpedded enigma2.
i can help you to read you if you don't know how. -
Gigablue is fake dreambox??? go mind your own business. if you're not here to help you might aswell shut up.
-
the gigablue support forum is 0. no poit there.
cherokee webserver from here for dreambox worked on my box untill some point. i'm looking for better alternatives -
willing to test it. any ideea where i can get the ipk files?
im using OpenATV 3.0 image on my Gigablue 800 SE. -
Is there any plugin for OE2.0 for this purpose?
I found some for older images (cherokee & apache) but nothing this.
Thanks in advance -
anything new regarding this???
-
do you have any new progress on this?
sorry to bother you again, wish i knew more linux like you , but half of what i read is chinese to me LOL. i would contact the mcrypt programer to ask him for directions, but i wouldn't even know what to tell him hehe. -
much apreciated :). also wanna ask where i go from here to try building with mhash & mcrypt, probabily won't work since you haven't been able to acomplish it, but just for testing and learning more.
-
i have the feeling that what i have built is not for me :(. i can only find mips32el-nf compiled in distro-ipk . i need mips32el.
-
ok so i have done it so far. you are mentioning opendreambox/tmp/deploy/ipk/mips32el-nf/
is this where it is built? what is the difference between mips32el-nf and mips32el?
as i remember from your posts only php-mips32el is working for me.
also wanna ask where i go from here to try building with mhash & mcrypt, probabily won't work since you haven't been able to, but just for testing and learning.
thanks in advance -
if would only be that easy...i installed linuxmint13 maya and followed every step mentioned by you and i get on make image:
vali@vali-VirtualBox ~/opendreambox $ make image MACHINE=dm800

i tryed, i'm still hitting some errors .i was using xubuntu under virtualbox. like i said, although i am not a complete linux noob, this seems to be a hat too big for me to wear. are you using a virtualmachine envoriment? maybe you can share a prebuilt image with opendreambox.
my gues is that since you are not able to build PHP with mcrypt & mhash , i virtualy have no chance :D. even so, god only knows what cherokee admin will ask for next hehe

thanks alot man,i have replaced the md5 checsums with the new ones. yet now i stumble on another error...this seems to be endless LOL =))
when i try to install phpmyadmin it says :The 'mcrypt' module is not supported by your PHP interpreter
seems like everytime it's still missing something.thanks alot for the tutorials you sent me, i will give them a try tomorrow in order to build php with mcrypt too :). wouldn't be such a big isue if i only knew how to create mysql databases in comand line rather than using phpmyadmin interface.

gd package installed succesfuly, but the error about it missing is still in cherokee admin interface when trying to install from market , so i figured i must installed the new php packages provided by you.
seems php new packages don't work for me. i have uninstalled the old php and tryied to

sorry to bother you again but everything i try to install from the cherokee market gives me :
The 'gd' module is not supported by your PHP interpreter
maybe it's missing this module. also it's still a mistery to me how to create mysql databases. -
thanks you. will try lighttpd too.
true, cherokee admin page is kinda slow, but that's not the problem. the problem is that i fail to install Apps from the market. so...eighter i will install them manualy or i will find a better solution.
anyway, having this possibilty to have and webserver with no extra $ is a dream already -
thanks alot for all the support. do you use cherokee yourself? i thought cherokee-admin would do magic but it seems to be hanging while trying to install Apps (Joomla & Wordpress tested), could be my reciever, could be the version has bugs.
can i ask where do you have cherokee for mips32el from? i don't see any mips version on their website so it must be cross-compiled. i'd like to try to compile a more recent version, maybe it works better.
