You didn't replace ffmpeg
-
Should work for SD channels if you have a 10mbit upload speed (e.g. VDSL 50/10 or a fast cable connection).
-
You can do it yourself, see toplevel post. When you are done change your nick to Wissender200.

Maybe this can be added. Will look into it. -
The server keeps a thumbnail cache somewhere which you should delete. I don't know where exactly that cache is located. Maybe mfgeg can help out.

edit -> replace

wanderlead: do you know the app DreamOn? Go get it.

Excellent request I promise I will think about an implementation.

Both on my iPad and iPhones it works with latest clients and server. My server runs on a iMac, but latest server also works on Windows, I tested that 2 weeks ago.
Quoted from my TLS:
What to do if it doesn't work
You can perform following debugging steps:
- first try to get the original Airvideo to work. Once that works shutdown the Airvideo server and apply the mode (replace ffmpeg and add channels.ini)
- to check if zap link is okay open the link in a browser and see if your receiver or settop box zapped correctly
- to check if stream url is okay, zap to the channel and open stream url in VLC. If you the channel playing in VLC you're okay
- to check if air video server and ffmpeg are okay, check the log window in the air video server application. Thing to look for are the first line which should say how many channels were read from channels.ini and the ffmpeg section (below long list of configuration settings)
- make sure your server has at least a Core Duo cpu and sufficient ram. The so called "3-seconds problem" is usually caused by a too slow cpu -
I'm sure lokutus2000 will give you a hand, otherwise I can generate you the lists.
Happy New Year to all and happy streaming in 2011.

Check the properties with processhacker when the service is running. Likely the service is started with another path. Then copy ffmpeg and channels file to there
-
It looks like ffmpeg and the channels file are not in the same directory as where the airvideo service is executed from. I would firts try to get it to run manually (not as a service).

Wird wohl nur Wunschdenken bleiben aber wenn dann irgendwann mal die Dream auch der Server sein kann wäre das der absolute Traum
Maybe a future Dream model. Chipsets with h264 transcoding capabilities for settop boxes are available on the market. -
You can try to upgrade to latest server first. If it doesn't help then you should try a air video server with faster cpu.
-
This is crap:
If this is caused because of wrong copy and paste then refer to this section in my toplevel post:What to do if it doesn't work

Should be no problem with lokotus2000's tool:
[PC-Tool] Bouquet Editor Suite v1.11 (Download) -
Attach your file so I can take a look.

Yes, the method I described in the top level post. -
Right, for live tv you need the modified linux executable from my first post.
