I did not try that before - seemed to be to much work to check all the frequencies manually, and I did not have the important frequencies.
what leads to crash:
- set tuner to any other type of scan than "provider"
- start automatic scan
=> crash
what works:
- set teh tuner to any type of scan
- start manual scan, configure with QAM264 and with frequency 1
- start manual scan, configure with QAM264 and with fequency 2
....
=> all detected stations are in the list, the rest works perfect!
I hope, the description is clear enough.
Thomas
I am afraid, that did'nt work.
The provider scan only scans QAM64.
But I found a workaround:
got the list of freqiemces from the provider and used the manual scan for the interesting frequencies.
Now it works!
Best regards
Thomas
Hi,
I tried your file - but the provider-scan only scans QAM64 and stopps with zero results.
Somewhere the configuration for provider scan has to be set - but I cant find it in the scan.py.
Can you see anything in the enclosed crashlog?
Thomas
Hi pcd,
you plan to fix the cable-scan in the next release.
Have you any idea, when that could be?
I cannot use the box until then with the image, and it ist the one and only.
Best regards Thomas
many thanks for the new version.
for the next version:
the startscript for scam has a small lingusitic problem, the filename of
/usr/bin/scam.ppc in the scrip starts with a capital letter - so scam does not start.
Could you change either filename to /usr/bin/Scam.ppc or adapt the script?
I know, ist only a tittle - but could save some time of some people.
Best regards Thomas
with "Sendersuche mit Provider" I can not change Q64 to Q256 - and manual search does not variy the frequencey.
Does anyone know, where I can find the configuration for the "Proider search"?
Would help, because the provider changed from Q64 to Q256!
Until then the image worked really fine and the workaround did it.
Frequency search leads to green screen.
Has anyone a idea where to search for the configuration, that sets the serarch for provider?
thx

PCD, thank you for the fast respond.
The info helped me to play with the scripts and to try modifying a little bit.
I assume, that the script for Scam3.58 does not work appropriate, because there is no process "scam.ppc" after executing.
As I am not that experienced I would ask you, I you could check that in your configruation.
my latest results:
cccam does not work with the conax-card - maybe configurtation of frequency ...
scam works perfectly, but the script does not start.
workaround:
- I copied /usr/bin/Scam.ppc to /usr/bin/CCcam.ppc
- I started in the menue the cam CCcam_2.4.1
=> there was the picture!
Not beautiful, but it works.
PCD, thank you for the E2-image. As a user of 7025 I really feel at home at the 600PVR, and even my mother in law can handle it!
I think in the script for Scam there is a problem with a capital letter starting /usr/bin/Scam.ppc instead of /usr/bin scam.ppc.
(I was not able to change the script, my configuration WIN7/filezilla/notepad damages the files by editing)
thank you for the hint.
If I use cccam2.1.4 I have plenty oft those processes, at least 5.
All the other cams (from the plugins) seem not to start any process.
the script emu_info shows/finds exactly nothing.
ecm.info also does nothing.
Any idea, how to change the start-script or what files of ccam2.0.11 has to be placed in what directory to install manually?
thank you for the enigma2-image for dream600 - now it looks similar to my dream7025!
The only problem I have is the conax-encryption.
I have an original key-card from Liwest, but that does not work with any of the softcams.
Have you any idea, what I could check or change?
How could I intstall any other softcam manually?
Thanks for your help!
