also it helps to set it up then once done turn off box and on again it works for me rebooting never worked for me

i had same probblem with dm8000 so i flashed with firmware from dm and let it boot then flashed with gp image and it worked again so you having the dm800 here is a link to the firmware for dm800

i think you can not removed mine yet but plugin menu or with ddc ipkg packages

i have flashed my dm8000 couple of times with dreambox-secondstage_73-r0_dm8000.ipk and new drivers dreambox-dvb-modules_2.6.12-5.1-brcmstb-dm8000-20090612-r0_dm8000.ipk
but my dm8000 is still showing Dreambox Second Stage Loader BUILD #65,

any idea please would be most helpful

is the a way to update the common interface assignment plugin
in gp 4.10 or do i have to wait till the GP 4.11

to assign services/providers/caids to common interface modules
new option "High bitrate supports" to normal CI setup added. This must be enabled to descramble high bitrate transponders like 30000 8PSK 3/4 on 0.8W with CI Modules.

i have the 7025 dvb-s and dvb-c cards installed but trying to scan with the dvb-c card will not pick up channes i use the 6887 for my area but picks up nothing if i install the pli image it works any ideas as to what settings to use in the gemini 3.7 please
