BA uses the kernel and drivers from Flash - if these are old you can have such strange problems. Update the image in Flash, or use the same one there as you boot from CF/USB and the problems should dissapear.

Then it is the other way around - The newest OoZooNuses already newer drivers which are not yet supported by older images.

And these new drivers have problem with the aspect ratio switch plugin too if I remember right.

So it could be that you have to wait until this gets fixed in the CVS and OoZooN offers a Software Update

No, but you probably can still change it with echo into the appropiate files at /proc

If you mean the normal settings use the configuration backup plugin within enigma2 to backup and restore bestween the images.
