    If you will use a USB-HDD, Shutdown the box and attach USB Harddisk and boot up the box.
    Then you install USB2HDD and start use the USB-HDD (whit record and Timer)

    We are having loads of images and all of them are the same.. so why bother

    I wrote that before trying the image.


    Then I downloded it and tried it. There is no game here.


    I don't konw why you are so upset. This is my personal opinion and it has nothing to do with you.

    And of course you are entitled to your opinion. :)


    But please remember new images are worth publishing because they do things differently - not necessarily new things. In fact there are not many new things anybody can do.


    With multiboot it is easy to test images. If you don't like an image - don't have to use it.

    Ich kann das Image "DreamForum-II_v5.2-DM800" euch allen nur empfhelen.
    Es funzt besonderes gut mit Multiboot BA

    Not use the good image if you not like the Image


    And Nothing New, where can you find 1 other Image how you can select if you will Record or playback from Dreambox-HDD or PC-HDD :winking_face:

    Hey m8,


    this is a feature in the current CVS... You can select the location (yellow-button) in the TimerEdit-Screen... and if you have a CIFS-mount for a PC you can select it and so you can record your movie there.

    It is better to see what is in an image and then make useful comments.

    Skin gefällt mir sehr gut. Gibt es den auch für gemini 3.6 image?

    Habe das Image mal auf den Usbstick geschmissen, der Skin ist wirklich sehr gut...aber leider ist es mir beim Einrichten schon mehrfach abgeschmirrt so dass ich keine Lust mehr hatte und das Image wieder gelöscht habe....



    Bin aber auf spätere Images gespannt und werde die auch gerne ausprobieren.

    I never would comment anything bad to any image-maker with such nice ideas... as I know how much hard work it is to create an image with extra-stuff.


    I also like your work on other E2-images for older boxes.

    It is very nice of you to make these remarks. I have great respect for you. Also you have been very helpful in the past, for example camd69 source.


    Regarding this image - it is a DF-II Board image with their ideas which I included in my basic cvs image. I do not have a dm800, so they did the testing.
