Hmm, ok, I´m not sure, how to install on your DM500.
Is there a package available online via BP to install in flash? But I´m not sure...

I can connect via FTP if that is what you mean.

I'm not sure wether the 500+ has enough space but you may put the picon-pack markus21 pointed to into the folder /etc/picon... but be carefull and prepare to flash new if the package is too big... I do not know what will happen if it really is to big...
