Plug-in WebStream2DB - BETA

    WebStream2DB let's you play TV internetstreams on your dreambox. Completely controlled with your remote!

    The package contains
    - The plugin (.so and .cfg)
    - Two php files to control VLC on your PC


    Requirements:
    - PC with VLC and PHP (use Xammp or Firepages for example)
    - Movieplayer configured right.

    How it Works

    Intallation:
    Place the plugin in the /var/tuxbox/plugins directory on the dreambox.
    Place the .php files on your pc's webserver


    Start the plug-in (yellow button) and choose the stream you want to watch. The plugin sends the stream request to the php script and the PHP script executes the streaming command to stream the webstream to your dreambox.


    Then, after about 30 seconds, the stream starts playing!!

    interessantes Projekt, darauf haben glaube ich schon viele gewartet und es wurde auch schon hin und wieder geschrieben dass das garnicht geht.
    Ich glaube aber auch das es mit dem VLC (auf dem PC) als Transcoder klappen muesste.


    Nur das mit dem PHP auf dem PC verstehe ich nicht ganz, geht das auch unter Windofs?


    Ich glaube du must einfach mal genauer beschreiben was du gemacht hast und auch ein File zum probieren mitliefern, sonst ist es schwierig hier Hifle zu bekommen die ueber ein par kluge Ratschlaege hinausgeht.

    It should work on Windows as well, but I would like to hear from a beta-tester (preferrable with some skills on php).


    I saw there are a lot of people waiting for a plug-in like this for watching webstreams or their IP-webcam. This plug-in should do it all.

    und wenn ich webstream2db starte bekomme ich auch eine fehler meldung:


    Config file not found


    obwohl webstrearm2db.conf garnicht dabei war.
