  • ^M is ASCII Charakter #13. Looks like the script has been edited with a windows editor, and the lines terminate with the wrong end of line characters CRLF instead of LF only. You should use a linux compatible text editor like Notepad++ for example.

  • Thanks a lot for your response. I have opened the file in Notepad ++ editor all lines ends with LF. I have also tried to run it on my Ubuntu operated PC and the file execute. When i run it on root@dreamone:/data/android# ./set_bootloader.sh

    it still comes up with:

-bash: ./set_bootloader.sh: /bin/sh^M: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

Any help is highly appreciable. Thank you.

  • Thanks a lot for your advise. I am curious to know some more about this. For my installation I have installed the GP4. My understanding is that this forms the original image as basis, and GP4 is installed on top of it. Based on your advise, do I need to remove GP4 installation and only use the original image, with no option to use GP4? Thanks for any further advise.

  • I have just installed original image without any success, and I am starting to realise that this installation is not for my level. However, I would like to thank you all for contributing for me to understand this. Thank you/ Vielen danke.
