Guys... This is only a new developement enviroment with a slightly newer enigma2 version (4.3.0r15 vs. r19). There can't ne any big differences for now!
And antrabe: For now the images are not meant to be widely or even productively used so I think a GP3 is not neccessary.
P.S.: bogdanm please use a spell checker or something. I don't understand 90% of your language
ok thanks m0rphU, only other enviroment to developers thats means open source code like were dream multimedia code years ago?
Uhm... No... I think you just don't get the point what OE means...
As I said the it is the development environment to build images. The OE code is and always has been open source! See http://git.opendreambox.org/?p=opendreambox.git;a=summary
Everyone can build their own image with it. And now it received an upgrade to Openembedded Krogoth (now called Yocto Project 2.1) to support the ARM chipset of the 900UHD, new compilers, qt5 and stuff like that.
Long story short: image teams and developers can be excited about that, but "the normal user" don't need to care at all. Actually the experimental images are not even meant for regular users
Update: kronoth-stable
