Hi,
Switch to a channel with working EPG , best on your timezone.
Shutdown box. Power off , wait a minute. Switch on box.(should work if box comes back with the program having the EPG signal, else you might mave to adjust your start up channel)

dont work....
when i had VU+ i must go to eurosport channel and restart receiver and clock was OK or in setting was sntp and i open it and clock was ok .
but in DM 7080 it dont work and i cant find sntp. -
Switch to the eurosport channel. Switch the Box into the standby via Menu. Then use the main switch at the back and wait some seconds.
The box has to be completely dead for some seconds...Then powerup again...

All of this will not work, if you do not have the newest patches: NTP time will overwrite the time coming from the transponder all the time. Most probably your Router broadcasts the wrong time.
You need to update to the latest patch where you can disabel NTP time and just take the time that comes from transponder...
Change came with 4.2.3r1, here an excerpt from changelog:
- NetworkManager: allow disabling NTP Time Server Updates

Hello,
My network-settings overview shows the address of a timeserver that I never configured (see screenshot). The configured address is the same as my router-address but my router does not have the capability to act as a timeserver. Does anyone know how I kan configure an external timeserver?
Many thanks!

The address is set via DHCP: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=dhcp+ntp
As written above: If your router gives wrong timestamps, you can disable the NTP server. But afaik you cannot set your own address.

Thanks for the answer!
I forgot to mention but I don't use DHCP. All IP-settings (Address, Subnet, Gateway, DNS) are manually configured. But there was no manual setting for the timeserver. Is this always the same as the Gateway-address or is it possible to seperate them?
