Wir haben aktuell ein Problem mit dem Board und arbeiten an der Lösung...

UPDATE: Das Problem scheint behoben, wir beobachten das noch :)

    Several times the skinner was showing by viewing a recorded film.
    The picture froze. The atmolight as well.
    I start the recording from within the EMC plugin.
    In the kernel log I found some strange "pts errors".
    See attached dmesg.txt


    I will test, if it occurs with the mediaplayer as well.
    The box is a 8k.

    Maybe we can debug some things over a teamviewer session ?

    By the way... I saw that one process is currently very high on cpu usage (80 to 98%). It is the minidlnad process, which is updating the files index. I gonna kill it and try again. Maybe this is the reason.


    It would be helpful to find another 8000 user. So the issue could be verified.

    es geht ja darum, ob Funktionen arbeiten oder nicht!
    Habe ich eingestellt, daß eine Meldung beim "Start" des Lichtes erfolgen soll, so soll es auch sein!
    Ist es nicht so besteht - Handlungsbedarf ! :winking_face:

    Seems that I found the reason for the freezes.
    The black bar detection. When I turn it off everything is great.
    When the function is on, and I skip through a recorded session it makes problems.
    The example session is a recording from a music broadcaster "IM1".
    It is in low resolution (no HD). But the various music clips have sometimes black bars and sometimes not.
    It seems, the fast skipping (jumping to another position with in the recording) confuses the black bar detection...
    Live-TV events have no problem so far. Maybe this happens during comercials? Did not test that yet.


    Now as I know what to do, I can live with it.


    As for now I would like to cancel our meeting for this evening.

    Ist ja auch kein Probleme.
    Wollte ja nur mal nachfragen ob es nur bei mir so ist, mich stört das auch nicht.
    Hauptsache ist doch das es richtig und gut Funktioniert, das tut es ja auch.

    dazu muss ich sagen das ich die Helligkeit auf 1 stehen habe was meiner meinung nach hell genug ist.

    ich kann jedem nur empfehlen seine alte boblight Version komplett zu löschen und die r3 neu drauf zu machen.


    Seid dem läuft jetzt alles richtig rund ohne delay.
    Auch habe ich plötzlich mehr Optionen auf der Hauptseite.
    Unter anderem: Give massage wenn turn on/of light

    Wie steuerst du die LED stripe WS2812 an?? Ich dachte immer es gehen nur ws2801....
    Da die WS2812 ja doch etwas günstiger sind... :)


    Wärst du so nett und machst mal ein paar Bilder? von deinen 232 Leds :winking_face: würde mich total interessieren...


    Welche Streifen hast du genau?

    ich hab diese
    mit dem sedu board am laufen.
    Die firmware dafür hab ich von led studien hat wenn ich mich recht erinnere 5€ extra gekostet.

    Ich habe festgestellt wenn ich boblight aus habe und starte die Vu aus dem Standby geht das Licht automatisch an.
    Das ist für mich sehr unpraktisch.
    Hat dieses Probleme noch jemand von euch.
