I tried 100 Led with dm800 and it worked. (deamon on raspberry pi)

  • Hello,
I am using a Sundtek DVB-C USB Stick on my DM800se.
Now I want also a Boblight on the back of my panel with the Sedu Board.

After installing the boblight plugin every reboot the receiver stucks at 3/4 Loading Balance.
Can you fix that problem or help me?

    Thank you.

    Dear Martin

  • Hi Speedy,

did you check that overview? Is it possible, that every receiver in that overview might be compatible with Boblight? The chipsets are familiar.

VU+ UNO, VTI 5.1.x, 500GB internal HDD, 4GB Stick for PICONS
Arduino UNO, 50 WS2801 LEDs, Boblight (always the latest version)

  • hello,

now works my boblight with solo2 :)))
but the colors are sometimes not correct, when i watch football, the grass are not green on led.

    how looks your dynamic adjustment?

  • Hi,

my new sedulight always stays in standalone-program. can't find the error. what can i do?

Edit: its done. working great! trusted the plugin-config-maker. editing by hand helped!

    But now i always get

    Code
[Boblight] Gamma not set, using 2.2 since this is default for video

    any idea?

  • @ MrMuppet: This is a normal message when you use the default gamma. when you start with -o gamma=2.1 , you dont get this message.

For the colors, play around with the adjust in boblight.conf.
But restart everytime the daemon to use the new setting.

Gr speedy. Sorry for late post. i have it verry bussy on this moment with work.

And it's not telling me, that the gamma-settings in boblight.conf isn't correct? Ok. thanks

  • I have the Feeling that the Autostart of the deamon still is not working :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Without starting it from the console - my lights are not working.

Isn`t it possible to start the deamon manually from the GUI?

Lights ON - only starts the grabber I guess,...

  • Helped please, I have the VTI OE 1.6. I set enigma2-plugin-extensions-boblight-enigma2_0.7r7_Beta_mipsel.ipk.

  • I did put a different image on VTI 5.1.0 OE-2
    Set Boblight mipsel32
When you connect the Arduino blinking LED TX

At the start of Boblight produces a log, a tape 1 LED blinks red quickly, the next 4-5 colored but quickly faded.
Libraries libboblight.so in the package is not there libboblight.so.0.0.0

  • And again... :loudly_crying_face:

Does boblight work with a Xtrend 6500 Receiver. It does have the same Chip (BCM7413), same clockrate (400 MHz), same memory (512 MB) as the VU+ UNO.

Only difference is the 1GB flash memory.

An answer before the start of the Bundesliga season 2013/14 would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hey Speedy!

Boblight 0.7R7 is running great on my Solo2.

But I have noticed some red flashes at my lower right corner (start-point). They occur about every 8-10 seconds and last about 0,5-1sec when the picture is dark/black in this corner. Especially at movie credits.

    Any idea what causes this?

    Greetings, Martin

  • Hi,

the first light in line starts blinking red every 8-10 sek, when it's getting no signal. Blacklevel set to 30, Sedu-Board

  • Same here. I had that problem in the past, then it was gone, now its back and yesterday I've updated to VTI 6.0 to see if it still happens.

Without the Sundtek stick, the Box boots just fine. With the stick, it doesn't. If I start the DVB-C stick later, the box will hang up.

    Nightmareachim had the same issue

I will try to see what happens, if the deamon is stopped and I try to activate the stick again.

What about an active USB-Hub. In My case, Adalight is connected to a USB Hub, where there is also a mini USB stick for picons. The Sundtek is using the other free USB port.
