  • Steht extra groß und in rot auf der ersten Seite!

    Maybe you forgot to change the names (you can use the creator, option 1 in GUI) in your boblight.conf, the light names must be 3 chars XX1 , XX2 or 001, 002 others daemon will not work.

  • Thanks for your work !! :hurra:
    i will add this to r14.

    Kind regards speedy1985

  • To the adalight users here.

    Can you confirm, that using the optional blacklevel values in any color section will affect the color RED to be more like a light red/pink color?

    Also one little issue with updates on boblight.

    If I update the daemon, I kill it first via telnet. Then I install the ipk file and after a restart, the daemon won't start. I need to deactivate and reactivate the network mode to make it work.

  • Neither can I confirm the blacklevel-red colour correlation for my adalight, nor do I have the problem with the deamon. For my adalight it sometimes only seems that white light looks a bit red.

    I had such a problem with the deamon after updating a few versions ago, uninstalling and a clean reinstallation solved my problem there.

  • Hi Greetz,

    thanks for the feedback. I got some questions:

    What PDE file are you using for the Arduino?

    Do you have LPD8806 oder WS2801 LEDs?

    Unlikely but nevertheless, what are the specifications of your power supply unit for the LEDs?

    I just want to make sure, that we have the same setup.

  • Hi, i have also a adalight setup.

    - Arduino Duemilanove
    - Ledstream PDE from https://github.com/adafruit/Ad…o/LEDstream/LEDstream.pde
    - Added this at top of ledstream.pde(faster)

    Code
    //#define CPU_16MHz       0x00
    #define CPU_8MHz        0x01
    //#define CPU_4MHz        0x02
    //#define CPU_2MHz        0x03
    //#define CPU_1MHz        0x04

    I have the same problem with red.
    I have tested this also whit lightpack from windows. Also lightred/pink.

    Tested this with a sedu controller and WOW!
    So the problem is in the arduino i gues.

  • Now I have question. I can hook up my 50leds (possible going to 100) to a sedu board? Is there a manual somewhere or is it enough if I get this thing here and connect GND, Data, Clock and +5V?

    Are there any improvements if I go for 8Mhz in the LEDstream anyway?

  • Here's my setup:
    - Arduino Uno Rev3 (using LEDstream.pde from adafruit on github)
    - 100x 12mm WS2801 pixel module LEDs
    - power supply: SNT MW60-05 (switch power unit, 5V, 12A)

  • Hi Speedy.

    Little problem with autostart = off:
    when starting from deep standby the lights are off (okay!).
    But sometimes the lights are on - although they have not been turned on.
    I think it happens when the box is in standby and a timer-record starts (in standby). Later - after switching on the box the lights are on.

    I will take a look at that soon.

  • Hi Speedy,

    I tried to install the neweset version on my 500HD with the current experimental oe2.0 Image.

    Now I get a new error message during the installation process :

    Installing kernel-module-cdc-acm (3.2-r10.42-bsp0) to root...
    Configuring libpng15-15.
    Configuring kernel-module-cdc-acm.
    Collected errors:
    * pkg_run_script: package "libpng15-15" postinst script returned status 1.
    * opkg_configure: libpng15-15.postinst returned 1.

    How can I solve this problem?

    Squooshie

  • Try to install this:
    http://www.i-have-a-dreambox.c…t.php?attachmentid=249360

    or try to install the package with opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-boblight-enigma2_0.6rX.ipk --force-depends (X is build nr)

    Gr Speedy

  • Ok Thank you

    Now I can install the plugin but my lights just went out and nothing happens.

    I even tried a new config file which I created with the plugin but it does not work. If I press the yellow button to test this config file only the blue lights are on red and green dont seem to work.

  • Hi Speedy,

    first of all I like to thank you for that awesome work!
    Yesterday I first run my ambilight… and it is so nice :winking_face:

    Here is my Setup:

      100 LED WS2801
      Andurino Uno
      5V 4A power supply <-- too weak for 100 LED’s
      Vu+ Uno

    I’ve got one problem. When I set autostart in the boblight plugin the box wouldn’t boot completely. I see the boot Screen and can connect with ssh to the box but the enigma2 gui don’t come up. This must be related with my Sundtek USB tuner. If I unplug the stick before I boot the box there is no problem. Also there is no problem when I disable autostart on boblight and boot with USB tuner plugged in.
    Maybe here is someone else with this problem?

    - What setup you use ? sedu, arduino etc..
    - How much leds
    - Please post you boblight.conf
