End of Pcd Enigma2 Image Development

    Hi Friends,


    I am sorry that I cannot make any more Enigma2 images for the 7020, 600pvr and the 500plus.


    This is because - for other builds - I upgraded my os to ubuntu 11.04. Now unfortunately I cannot build the above images.


    If anybody wants to continue building these images - I will give you all the help - here :-

    this is really sad, as you gave new live to the box which is already a few years old. The latest official firmware release is already from 2009...!
    All the best for the new boxes and thanks again for the great images :)

    I feel so bad I can change my linux os and start work on these images again ! :)


    But the fact is that - not much more can be done to the cvs code any more. The python files I can patch without making a new image.


    So - if anybody has any suggestion for improvement - please keep posting. I will make the changes as plugins to the last image.

    I can convert the new plugins and skins (mentioned above) for these images .


    But I cannot think of anything new for making a new image version. Any suggestions ?

    perhaps i also will try your image on my DM600 ...
    ... i don't try a enigma2 image on my dream but i want to.


    will my dreambox as fast an stable like it is with an enigma1 image?
    now the is a openpli on the box ... the gimini 4.7 won't work so good.

    ich würde auch sofort wieder dein E2 auf die DM600 machen.


    Ich habe nur E1 verwendet, weil ich mit dem MCE-Manager Musik von den Sky Radiosendern aufnehmen wollte, diese Sender wurden aber eingestellt, also steht deinem E2 nichts mehr im Wege.


    Auf meinen anderen Boxen habe ich jeweils das iCVS mit GP3 und ich würde es begrüßen, wenn man einige Skins von GP3 mit aufnehmen und damit nachladen könnte. Ebenso würde ich mich über AMS von JackDaniel freuen.


    Vielleicht könnte man noch das Automount anpassen, damit man die auto.network verwenden könnte.
