I try to use this skin with EMC.
Unfortunately the preview is too big, so I can't see everything in the list.

Is ist possible to shrink the preview an enlarge the filelist?

option "skinnable list" was activated in EMC

Ich habe jetzt die 820 Dream und ein image hat ja die tar.xz endung und nicht wie bei der 800 die ipk endung
Kann ich den skin jetzt trotzdem installieren in ipk.Möchte auch da den skin wiederhaben.

Da schmeißt du etwas durcheinander
Plugin-Pakete sind bei OE 2.0 die .ipk gewesen (also auch bei deiner 800) und bei DreamOS ist es .deb (also auch bei deiner 820).

Die Endung der Image-Dateien hat damit nix zu tun...

P.S.: Ich warne nach wie vor den Skin unbedarft zu installieren. Es werden unzählige System-Dateien mitgliefert und verändert. Das kann unvorhersehbare Auswirkungen und Fehler zur Folge haben, auch an ganz anderen Stellen im Image.

habe ich schon gemerkt das alles etwas anders ist sagst du mir auch wie ich die datei installiere.Ich habe den skin schon lange und möcht den auch wieder haben.

Quatsch/unsinn! Bitte benenne welche unzählige system dateien mitgeliefert werden und welche verändert werden?

Ich will den Skin ja nicht verteufeln. Aber es ist meiner Ansicht nach Mist, dass alles in einem großen Paket geliefert wird und dann eben auch teilweise Probleme bei der Installation und Deinstallation bringt. Alleine, dass im postinst Script jede Menge Dateien verschoben und gelöscht werden, es aber kein postrm Script gibt (in dem solche Löschaktionen viel sinnvoller wären), ist merkwürdig. Auch gibt es zwei control Files. Das ist zumindest schlampig... Depends gibt es gar keine, obwohl viele Sachen dadurch automatisch installiert werden könnten.

Zu den Dateien, die mich stören:
1) Drei verschiedene skin_user.xml werden mitgeliefert und bei Deinstallation des Skins nicht entfernt, wenn sie vorher im Plugin aktiviert wurde.
2) 6 Binaries werden mitgeliefert, wovon man auf der Dream maximal 2 braucht. Eines der Binaries, hddtemp, gibt es beispielsweise auch als extra Paket. Das kann Konflikte verursachen.
3) /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/ServiceList-new16.py32o sieht für mich nach einer neuen ServiceList aus. Das ist nen tiefer Systemeingriff.
3) Die Fonts sehen auch so aus, als ob sie unnötig wären
4) Die ganzen pyo Dateien werden nicht deinstalliert

Deinstalliere mal den Skin... Du wirst sehen, dass unzählige Dateien zurück bleiben.
Den Code des Plugins habe ich mir noch gar nicht angesehen....

Nachdem ich jetzt auf der Dream 820 die version 11.22 drauf habe ist auch alle gut.
nur die Picons,würde ich gerne wieder auf einen usb auslagern.wenn ich aber in den Einstellungen vom skin gehe,und ich den Pfad selbst wählen möchte (USB Stick ),bekomme
ich immer die meldung Fehlerhafter ort und oder wird nicht abgespeichert.
Kennt das jemand oder weis einer warum.

Was für Pfad hast du eingegeben und ist es in /etc/enigma2/settings gespeichert worden (config.plugins.setupGlass16.par124=.../). Also am ende soll ein / stehen

ich möchte in einstellung mein usb stick als speicherort für die picons angeben.
doch er speichert das nicht ab oder sagt mir fehlerhafter ort.
unter /etc/enigma2/settings habe ich eine solche eintragung (config.plugins.setupGlass16.par124=.../) nicht.
