I have expected something like this:

If there are no lines like above it is hard to say (for me) where problem is.

I think,

that problem is with initial module dvb-usb-af9015 or in the firmware. Can you test other af9015 firmware files?

PS: I have found this part inside the driver source code (SIFTeam version):

It seems that the a850 can work, but on the SIF Team web pages this tuner is marked as "Not OK".

Try my modules from the iCVS image. I think that files paths are the same like in your image - check it please before replace them with:

tar -xvzf Af9015Modules.tar.gz -C /

PS: Restart your box after untar. If problem persists paste here dmesg output, right after /etc/init.d/usbtuner.sh restart

This module (af9015) was already patched for the tuner TDA18218 last year. It seems that you have an old one.
Funny, I have found that the package usbtuner_0.4.3b_dm800.ipk includes the module dvb-usb-af9015.ko which has support for TDA18218 tuners :).

Here are the modules for af9015 usb from the latest SIFTeam image (dm800). Try its.

yes i know that 0.4.3b works, also was working fine ItalysatDTT plugin, but after 2011 10 23 italysat stoped working properly ,maybe it is possible to add that into new versions of usbtuner

It is problem of the image developers. I don't know why the latest and patched modules didn't include in theirs images :(. In my previous message I have attached modules from the latest SIFTeam image.

Yes, I can confirm. Maybe they have slightly other kernel version or compiler. It's a pitty. I will try OpenPLI modules.

Modules from OpenPLI also without compatibility with the newest iCVS image (after latest upgrade) :(.

I had the version 0.4.2b which used to work for some time but after some zapping on channels would not recognize tuner anymore. I would need to boot again for it to be recognized each time. I have an af9015 on icvs image. I let this be for some time.

Then I tried to install latest version. I uninstalled the version I had and tried to install the lates. However I cant go beyond first phase to install module-init-tools as it is telling me cannot find package module-init-tools. Any help?
