usbTuner (multiple tuners on dm800) v0.7.3 ipk package (all new images) + GUI plugin

just installed new experimental on my dm800se (OE2.0) i tried to install my AF9015 stick.

everything went fine and i can see it as a secondary device.
the problem is while searching for channels. it just got stuck.
when trying to manually search just 1right transponder a see that it found some channels but then it again goes stuck and all I can see is a spinner.

i think we need new usbtuner binary in order to work on oe 2.0 based images.

btw. I've tried newest italysat image ItalySat4.0-dm800se-SVN_069 and there is no problem with dvb-t, but i couldn't find anything responsible to be usbtuner/extuner driver inside the image

I think you don't know what you are talking about.
italysat ave not solved anything-
Italysat like others hobbyst images is Pli based.
All the images pli based on oe2.0 too have dtt working because they share OpenPli enigma2 version that is the same of OE 1.6
italysat image don't use new DMM enigma. For this reason dtt are working like in all OE 2.0 images based on OpenPli.
Italysat dtt is working like in Openli and all other OpenPli based images OE 1.6 and OE2.0

I have exactly same problem on my older dm800 with the latest DMM experimental image. You are right, but enigma2 OE2.0 is closed source now and I don't know who can develop new usbtuner/extuner/usbtunerhelper (yes, there are three various binaries) binary for OE2.0 in such situation. The DMM simple doesn't wants support usb tuners.

I think there is only one solution:

Stay on OE1.6 images or buy dm box with internal dvbt tuner.

BTW: The latest oe1.6 release-dm800-3.2.4 isn't so bad.

just installed new merlin3 oe 2.0 image + latest updates and drivers and ... my 15a4:9016 Afatech AF9015 DVB-T is working like a charm on my 800se !!!!

like charm AF9015 on old one dm 800 OE2.0
tested on latest Merlin3 and OoZoon
i think it should wotk on latest experimental
of course software update before install

i just added to enigma2.sh

then everythin from folders
drivers are taken from latest Italysat 4.0
and took usbtuner,extuner,lsusb from Helours usbtuner_0.7.3x_all.ipk

script i took from My20 af9035 package

after i added all

depmod -a
then i pluged in usbtuner
restarted enigma
then rebooted dream and
vuala

i did everything from tutorial on page1 of this topic and my tuner is not recognized.

there where no drivers for OE 1.6.

so change of image wouldn't help?

mabye on oe 2.0. unfortunetally had no time to check it, but as far as i know dm800 is still running an old kernel so if it's true than no chance.
buy something else on af9015 chip. this one will work without any problems

But i have a problem my ID 2013:024f PCTV Systems nanoStick T2 290e on my dm8k won´t work with these scipts. It uses EM28XX driver. Is it possible to use? Openpli have support for this usb tuner but that image doesnt work as good as gemini3 images.

with af 9035 file attached should works on last release of oe2.0?
