This is a known issue of the KL's firmware. You need to update to 0x27 using the Karate-Tools from http://www.karatelight.de.

Ich habe da auch nco ein Problem. manchmal sind die LEd sehr dunkel, aber wenn ich Menu/erweiterungen/ und dann Atmolight drücke wird es hell. daselbe es leuchten keine Leds, sobald ich in das Plugin Atmolight gehe, wird Licht, ohne etwas darin einszustellen.

habe das gleiche Problem mit der Version 0.5-r1. Mit der 0.4c funktioniert es.

hallo mamba,
ich habe noch einen verbesserungshinweis bei der dm8000:
wenn eine aufnahme läuft und man die dm8000 in den deepstandby fahren möchte erscheint ja die meldung "bla bla es läuft eine aufnahme ... möchten sie wirklich herunter fahren" diese dann mit ja oder nein beendet werden kann..
wenn ich diese meldung so stehen lasse, fährt die box erst nach beendeter aufnahme herunter... währenddessen, funkelt natürlich das karateligt fleissig weiter (ohne das man fern sieht).
vielleicht kann das plugin ja während dieser meldung das KL stoppen....
ansonsten kann ich nur sagen, weiter so - ein klasse plugin !

Also mein Problem besteht immer noch. Friemel hat auch dies Problem.

Gibt es eigentlich schon ne loesung fuer das pan+scan problem? Bei mir steht das KL im P+S modus.

Leider nein. Der Fehler liegt im Decoder. Habe noch keinen Workaround gefunden. -

Mamba can u please also explain what exactly the automatic intensity does specially in the karatelight mode or on mode.
Also would like to know what the theater mode means (bioscoop mode) ?All the other options i know what they do and what they are for but those 2 i cannot figure out really hehe.
And i must say i am really impressed with the kl 8 channel that im already thinking of getting also the kl 16
This is just so perfect and i bought already a few of these self made ambilight systems as the motionlight and some other ones but none of them actually works so perfectly as the karatelight.I give it a 10+++
PS: only problem is that i cannot get it to work on open pli 2.1 no matter what i do.
On all other images it works perfectly. -
Hello,
the automatice brigthness adjustment reduces the intensity depending on month, day and time. In other words: the brigthness follows the sun, in the winter is lower than in summer, at noon it is brigther than a midnight. This is made to adjust for the light the sun brings into the room. Max reduction is 30%.
There is another brightness mode that called "controlled by Karatelight" which measures the true ambient light brightness through a light sensitive resitor connected to the Karatelight device.
If you intend to use the plugin with PLI, please select the interface /dev/ttyACM0 using the plugin. PLI does not support udev (but mdev), hence no udev /dev/ttyUSBACM can be generated. But using /dev/ttyACM0 also works quite good.
