If I move # to the rawir2, I won't be able to use the remote in enigma1 mode.

There are problems with the tuxtxt code. You may have to choose tuxtxt with e2 no e1 OR tuxtxt in e1.

  • Hallo PCD,

    Starten enigma2

    Cheers, pcd.

The teletext doesn't work in enigma1 mode.
I did what was written on the first page but txt doesn't work in e1.

Yes, all e1 plugin should work. I have not uploaded any because these are easily available. Sorry !

    Hi!

is there any E2-plugin for playing webradio?

  • nothing like dreamnetcast (gemini) or something like this?
maybe a good idea for the future:D

  • Unforntunately for me, the local network does not seem to work correctly (with all PCD E2 images 2.1, 3.1, 4.1):

    - "Network test" reports everything is okay except for "local network" (2nd test form top)
    - as a consequence (?), I cannot download/install any plugins/extensions
    - BUT: telnet from PC to box works, ping from box to arbitrary web server works

Any idea/hints? I need to install at least the web interface, otherwise the image is of no use to me.

With Gemini 1 and 2 images there is no such problem with the network, so it definitely is some kind of configuration problem, not just a bad cable or anything.

Help with this would be greatly appreaciated!

    G.

  • Pay no attention to the network test.
My network test also reports the same 'error' but the box goes to internet without any problems and downloads things from the server.
Have you actually tried to download something from the server?

Yes, but it only results in error messages (too cryptic to quote just from memory). Maybe these are unrelated to the network test problem - but then, what can it be?

    Please telnet these commands :-

    init 4
    killall -9 enigma2
    enigma2>/tmp/e.log 2>&1 &

Next - Try to download something.

Next - copy file /tmp/e.log and post (by pm if you wish).

    Cheers, pcd.

I see several errors, but I don't know, which ones are safe to ignore and which ones are fatal. Can you make anything of it?

  • Please install from Software :-

    python-pyopenssl

    and then try Webinterface.

In general - if you have install problem - look in the file /tmp/ipk.log.

    Cheers, pcd.

I tried, and here's the result:

    Installing python-pyopenssl (0.6-r0) to root...
    Configuring dreambox-bootlogo
    ERROR: dreambox-bootlogo.postinst returned 1
    Configuring python-pyopenssl

Considering that there is this "bootlogo" error and the other one "Can't find /boot in /etc/fstab", which both suggest some "boot" problem, I should possibly mention that I use the miniroot environment to keep multiple images on a CF card. This setup has however never caused any problems with any other image so far ...
