    Sooo war leider in den letzten Tagen ein wenig beschäftigt. Deswegen konnte ich nix schreiben. Die nächsten Tage werden leider nicht besser.

    zur Kathi kann ich mangels HW nix sagen. Sitz hier nur an ner Dream.
    Was genau funktioniert denn noch nicht mit Valerie + Movieplayer? Außer das Spulen in TS files. Wobei das bei meinen Aufnahmen ganz gut geht.. sind wohl ein paar dabei, die nicht wollen, aber das ist eher die Ausnahme.

    spulen geht ja gar nicht und bei ner früheren version konnte ich (hoff ich erinnere mich jetzt richtig) wenigstens springen.


    wenn ich jetzt springe, bleibt das bild stehen und ich muß die aufnahme neu starten.


    werd mal alle meine ts durchprobieren und morgen bescheid geben.


    sorry wegen der kathi, dachte das wäre ursprünglich auf ihr entwickelt worden.;)


    PS: hab mir wenigstens mal nen großen teil von valerie im kerniHD1R2 style geskinnt.:D EDIT: mal alle aufnahmen durchgetestet. Fazit: ein fünftel geht bis 8x vorwärts zu spulen, rückwärts gar nicht. Der große rest tut beim spulen gar nichts oder springt so 10sek. weiter.

    hab mir gestern mal project-valerie_rev367_mipsel_oe16 installiert, möchte es nun wieder entfernen, weiss blos nicht wie. kann mir da bitte einer helfen?

    hattest schon recht! Schischu entwickelt es ursprünglich und seither auf der Kathi.
    Ich mach nur das testing auf der Dream.


    Mal sehen was er zum Thema TS files sagt. Vll kann er da noch was drehen.

    Just install the python-ctypes package.


    "opkg install python-ctypes"


    If this doesn't work try this "opkg install python-ctypes --force-reinstall"

    is there any chance of a 'module' to import an XML database??
    I have 3,000 films on a NAS, I started the sync, after 10 hours Valerie had catalogued 200 films. At that rate it will take 10 days to get all the data!! I already have them on an XML database.

    No, there is no way to import the xml. But have you tried the PC App? It is much faster than the Sync function.
    Please keep in mind, that IMDB has a searchlimit within a specific time period. This could also slow down your sync.


    Whats the structure of the xml? Are there the IMDB id´s included? Maybe you can build a own script to fill the Valerie database.

    Is there a maximum length of text for the fields?
    The 'Plot' overgrows the bottom of the screen.

    Since I am importing text - I don't have the images - I have found that if the image is not different for each entry, the text is not refreshed on screen.

    There is no limitation of the fields. Yes, if the Plot is to long, it runs out of screen. This is already a list of the features requested for further development.


    Did you also implemented into your delphi script to download the backdrops/poster files? Keep sure that you also have a "defaultbackdrop.m1v" and "defaultposter.png"

    Ne. das Problem ist leider immer noch da.
    So kann ich das Plugin leider nicht nutzen.


    Ich teste bisher eigentlich immer jede neue Version, aber bisher keinerlei Änderung.
    Scheint wohl (im Moment) keiner dran zu arbeiten :frowning_face:

    verwendest du das PC-Tool zum SYNCEN oder das interne Plugin?

    ... ich antworte mal - habe ja das gleiche Problem. Habe soeben auf die neue 377 upgedated (vorher komplett neu Gemini installiert, da ich was getestet hatte) und nun funktioniert es ein bisschen besser: der SYNC startet und es werden Covers auch gesucht - allerdings nur von den Serien und von den avi-Files. Komischerweise gehen die normalen ts-Filme nicht... werde gleich mal am PC versuchen zu syncen...
