maybe my point is misunderstood.... I did not ask of you to rewrite the GP3 FlashBackup...what you provide here is much more and thanks for that. My specific point to the image name is iCVS not Schaedelmeister-exp !!! so this would support you hating long file names. Third (I agree) there no point of including the ssl number...

The Plugin takes the image name from the image file descriptor - and there the Creator is Schaedelmeister.
If he wants it I could change it, but it is not our task to decide for him.

0.91 auf einer DM800se mit DMM experimental und GP3 getestet: Backup und Flashen dieses Backups funktionierten.

Ich hab das Problem auf der 8k unter NN" 3.2 das er mir immer sagt "nicht gemountet"
Wollte es auf CF sichern. Ordner /media/cf/backup habe ich erstellt, funzt aber nicht. Immer die selbe Antwort "nicht gemountet"
Im Device ist die CF-Card aber eingebunden ! -

Why not ?
Change the backup path to /media/usb (or where you USB device is mouted) when asked, then also images from there will be shown for flashing.

Dann schau dir mal an was bei dir gemountet ist - unter /media/cf ist da NICHTS (wäre bei einer 800er auch etwas seltsam, oder hast du USB CF Reader angeschlossen ?), insofern verhindert das Plugin NUR das du in den Flash sicherst.
Ein Pfad auf /autofs... so wie es angezeigt wird wäre als Backuplocation sinvoller - wobei deine USB sticks nicht mal gelabelt sind - daher auch die komischen Mountpunkte - viel spass beim Tippen

Hab es gepackt, cf card nach media/usb gemountet, fstab eingetragen
Alles gelabelt! Übrigens ich hab immer noch ne 8k !

Na ja er hat eh von 8k geschrieben, aber ich habe es überlesen, trotzdem hilft fstab mounten, labeln und z.B. auf /autofs/cf umstellen hätte aber auch geholfen.
