Version 0.7ht-pre22 (14.06.2013) Atmolight:(Test-Thread) 500HD/800(se)/7020HD/7025/8000 «Dual Core»

  • FYI von avahi.org
"Avahi is a system which facilitates service discovery on a local network via the mDNS/DNS-SD protocol suite. This enables you to plug your laptop or computer into a network and instantly be able to view other people who you can chat with, find printers to print to or find files being shared."

Werde morgen Abend nochmal was dazu schreiben

  • so kurze Rückmeldung:

PID PPID USER STAT VSZ %MEM CPU %CPU COMMAND
    2551 1 root R N 40432 26.5 0 38.9 /usr/sbin/atmolightd.ng -b=1 -k=1
    2546 1 root S N 40432 26.5 0 10.5 /usr/sbin/atmolightd.ng -b=1 -k=1

    z.B.

    Code
    renice 19 $(ps | grep [a]tmolightd.ng | awk '{print $1}' | tr '\n' ' ')

  • Code
    root@dm800:/# renice 19 1093
    1093: old priority 0, new priority 19
    root@dm800:/#

  • Dear Mamba

I would like to ask you to implement a timer for the plugin to go on and to go off (something like what yo did for the light in standby, but for when the receiver is on) as it is annoying to have to manually turn off the pluging during the day and turn it back on at night.

    Thanks man

PS: apologies German speakers for hijacking your thread, i wish i could speak it.

  • Hi,

no need to apologize. All good. :)

I have that request on my list. I am pretty busy @ work right now, so it might take some time. If you want, you can add a two cronjob that stops and starts Atmolight by calling

    Code
    /etc/init.d/atmolight stop
    or
    /etc/init.d/atmolight start

    at a certain time.

As another suggestion to make this easier to access: Why not implement a signal-handler into the daemon which stops/resumes output with teh SIGUSR1 and SIGUSR2 signals?
