Bleibt mal sachlich, so unrecht hat isakota nicht. GPL ist GPL. Es reicht allerdings, wenn dhwz den Sourcecode auf Anfrage liefert, mehr muss er nicht.

Schon richtig, die Formulierung von isakota ist nicht ganz ok. Ein Lizenztext sollte aber schon dabei sein. Oder habe ich es übersehen?

Du machst nen supertollen Job. Lange ging nichts mehr mit DB-Edit und nun gibst du dir extrem Mühe und peppst das Ding richtig auf und dann kommt einer und will den SourceCode? Hallo....???

Der soll sich selber was basteln oder einfach deine Versionen nutzen, wie allen anderen in diesem Thread auch.

Also, den Grundgedanken von Opensource scheinst auch du nicht verstanden zu haben. Wenn man opensource code nimmt und verändert, MUSS man den code weitergeben, wenn der Ursprungscode unter einer entsprechenden Lizenz erstellt wurde. Ein entsprechender Lizenztext muss dann auch der veränderten Version beiliegen. Dreamboxedit steht aber nicht unter einer solchen Lizenz, deshalb ist das hier auch sehr offtopic. dhwz hat jedenfalls alles richtig gemacht, und das ist gut so. Wir können das gerne weiter diskutieren, dann aber besser in der Klatsch und Kotz Ecke

Hallo ich habe seit der Version 4 das Problem, dass wenn ich mit Doppelklick auf einen Kanal zappe... der Spinner jeweils lange dreht, die Box dann auch extrem lange braucht auf den Kanal umzuschalten. Manchmal sogar hab ich die Fehlermeldung Tunen fehlgeschlagen oder Kanal nicht gefunden.

Dies passiert sehr oft vor allem beim switchen von HD Kanälen...

Kann das jemand bestätigen?

Hast du das "Tunen fehlgeschlagen" auch wenn du mit der Fernbedienung ganz normal Zappst ?
Dann kann sein das die DiSEqC Kommunikation etwas holprig läuft.
Dann suche nach "Tunen fehlgeschlagen" und du wirst finden was man bei den DiSEqC Einstellungen ausprobieren kann um dem Problem entgegen zu wirklen

Nein wenn ich mit der Fernbedienung umschalte, hab ich all die Probleme nicht.
Nur wenn ich aus DB-Edit mit Doppelklick zappe. Daher auch mein Post.

Gestern Abend war ganz schlimm... der Spinner wollte nicht mehr aufhören...
Dann kam plötzlich mal das Bild (Spinner dreht weiter) und danach kam die Fehlermeldung (Kanal nicht gefunden).

Obviously you do not understand or DO NOT WANT to understand what is a software license. So, let's talk about this quote above first.

1.) DreamboxEdit is open source. <-- This means everyone can see code, compile it's own binary and use it UNDER LICENSE AGREEMENT (in this case GPL)

2.) You may use the program freely on as many computers and how long you want <-- Yes, you can download and use it on as many computers as you want, you may even compile your own binary and distribute it. But again, you HAVE TO comply with LICENSE AGREEMENT

Now when we have this explained, i see some ideas that DreamboxEdit is not under GPL license? I can only say visit

and you'll see that under License it clearly says: GNU General Public License (GPL) version 3. This is one and only license available for DreamboxEdit
