Dm600pvr Enigma2 Pcd 2.1

    Hello PCD,
    very good image thanks.


    But when i want to see an film on hdd, how i can go in under directory from the /movie directory?


    I have on /movie under directorys with /movie/Film /movie/Series etc.


    How i can do that?


    Have you tried with Mediaplayer or Mediacenter ?

    I have only 1,5 MB free....


    As written in Post1 :-


    "If installing in flash - it is very important use the feature "Increase available memory" soon after first bootup. "


    Then all plugins will go to hdd.


    Please install Software Basic Pack before installing plugins - because many plugins will need this software.

    Thanks, but i have not a hdd internal in the dreambox, i have
    mount the hdd from my other Dreambox.


    Can i connect an usb-stick to the dream and install the plugins on
    the usb-stick?


    Yes, the Increase Memory function has a usb option.


    I have not tried it. How do you connect/mount a usb stick to the 600pvr ?

    Oh sorry, i forget the 600er have no USB :-(

    No, its in the internal dream of my 7025.


    No Problem, i buy a smal 2,5" HDD for the 600, then i

    What occurred to me.


    When I press the VIDEO button, then it comes a selection of HDD and NFS, can I change or extend this selection?
    Then I would simply mount each subdirectory and then i write each directory in the selection.


    Why when i install the Mediaplayer, then i see only the TS-File Names
    and i can play at the same position of last ending, so the Video Button is much better...

    You don't need to buy a hdd for 600pvr.
    You can use your hdd in 7025 as a place for 600pvr plugins.
    I have 500+ with plugins installed on a ubuntu pc hdd.

    If you go to Mount manager - you will see the mount commands for cifs and nfs. You can change the server directory name there. Please try that.


    Regarding video files - Mediaplayer can only play .ts files. Vlcplayer can play all usual mpeg files including mp3.

    When i mount with telnet or mount with mount manager, then the directory is mounting ok, but when i press Video button and i go to NFS Mount, then he goes to hdd.
    I see no difference on HDD and NFS.


    Can i extend or edit the Selection when i press the Video Button?


    I want when i press Video Button a selection of different NFS Mounts,
    that was perfect :-)

    Please replace /usr/lib/enigma2/Infobar.py and InfobarGenerics.py with the attached and restart enigma2.


    Then recording and playback will be from the directory you mount to /media/hdd.

    Thanks, but you dont understand me, to mount on hdd is not a problem and playback on /media/hdd is no problem.


    But i want playback in underdirectorys, i want an choice to play
    the /media/hdd/movie Directory and play /media/hdd/movie/Filme Directory an play /media/hdd/movie/Series Directory.


    Do you understand?


    P.S. On my 7025 when i press two times on VIDEO Button i become a choice of underdirectorys. Can i copy the Files from my 7025?

    You can try the 7025 .py files if you know the correct files.

    With Mediaplayer is ok, but its not so good, while in mediaplayer you can only see the ts-File and no Description.

    The plugin contains the attached files. Please ftp them to the correct folders.


    After you ftp the files - run script postinst.sh or postinst (ohne Backup videothek_cfg).sh.


    The other 2 sh files are for removing the plugin.


    If it works - I will make a ppc plugin.

    Hello PCD,
    i have testet all.


    So, when i install the plugin with the files you have extract,
    then after install it with postinst.sh it comes errors at the telnet:


    27: /tmp/patch: Permission denied
    38: /tmp/patch: Permission denied


    Then enigma starts new, but the box startet not,
    by every starts comes error and the box restart.


    See the Crashlog attached.





    So, with that Enigma2 600 image from Cassiopeia comes an choice when you
    press VIDEO Button two times, here the image you can see/download:

    Then i installed an old image from you: PCD-20080618104602.nfi
    (When you need it please mail)


    Then i have copied the attached MovieSelection.py (from Cassiopeia)
    to the image, and see! it goes, the choice come with your PCD-20080618104602.nfi Image and the attached MovieSelection.py


    BUT: When i install your new Image DM600PVR_Enigma2_Pcd2.1 and
    copy the attached MovieSelection.py, then Enigma dont starts.
    When enigma will starts, then it comes the wheels and no more.


    Can you make an MovieSelection.py wich works in your new 2.1
    Image and with the choice from Cassiopeia?

    When you use this MovieSelection.py (your attachment) in my image PCD-20080618104602.nfi - with video button X 2 you see the choice of subdirectories of /media/hdd/movie ?


    What about plugin Videothek ? Does it work with this old image ?
