The Gemini2 Project 5.0 DM8000

    Just install it manually and edit the config ( /usr/crossepg/crossepg.config ) wit an editor.
    The download via GUI works just fine.

    Darf ich mal eine "Newbie" Frage stellen? :-).


    Was ist eigentlich an dem OE1.6 entscheiden besser als bei der OE1.5 Version? Ist die Performance besser? Meine 8000er läuft im Moment mit dem Gemini 4.7 super stabil. Bin am überlegen ob ich wechseln soll. Besser gesagt was es für Vorteile bringt.

    Das mit dem DTS Downmix ist ja schon eine feine Sache. Vielleicht macht es dann doch Sinn zu wechseln....

    I must be missing something here..
    Installing it manually will not create folders anywhere.
    the folder ( /usr/crossepg/ ) does not contain the file crossepg.config..

    I cant access the plugin anywhere at all..

    The attachment should contain everything you need.
    Just FTP it to your box and don't forget to chmod.
    You just have to edit the path in the crossepg.config to your needs,cause that's the only thing that doesn't work using the GUI menu.
    Besides that everything works fine,including the download.

    du hast das "problem" nicht gelöst, sondern bist es nur umgangen :winking_face:
    und hast dir dabei probleme eingehandelt über die du dir noch gar nicht im klaren bist :face_with_rolling_eyes:

    now from the file manager we can play 1080p24 .mkv files with autoresolotion plugin ( my panasonic tv says 1080p input ) and with DTS out optical or spdif well .. but volume control is not active when dolby digital is activeted and we can see embeded subtitles in .mkv files but we can not see .srt files where located in the foleder of mkv. Gemini team will support this issues ? any support .srt .sub files in folder of mkv ? an volume control for dolby digital and DTS

    habe paar "Probleme" mit dieser version:


    1. unter Gerätemanager wird mir nichts angezeigt obwohl ich HDD und CF Karte habe und dort auch BA funktioniert


    2. Wenn ich swap anlege, kann ich unter speicherort nur den vorgegebenen Platz (hdd/ba) wählen und nicht Cf karte, hat wohl mitt dem Punk 1. zu tun


    3. kann ich in Bouquets bei Programmliste den Verlauf der Sendung neben der Kanlnummer deaktivieren, stört irgendwie,

    Das ist Uralt, das muss mindestens ein Image mit Datum 29.04 sein.

    ich dachte 4,7 sei die vorgängerversion bzw die aktuelste vor der 5.0 Version ,das das mit Datum auch zu tun wusste ich nicht,
    Danke erstmal, dann würde ich probieren die 5.0 im Flash zu installieren

    BITTE tu das. Das image im Flash muss IMMER gleich alt oder Jünger sein als das was du booten willst (und auch das selbe oder höheres OE haben)


    Bei dir ist beides andersrum und das geht halt nicht wie schon hunderte VOR dir rausgefunden haben


    ABER Eure Multiboot Probleme haben hier im Image Thread NICHTS zu suchen - und erst recht nicht wenn IHR sie selber verursacht habt.
