XMLTV import -Fertiges EPG aus Rytec & Co in diversen images importieren

I have installed these files
python-zlib_2.5.1-ml4_mipsel.ipk
python-shell_2.5.1-ml4_mipsel.ipk
python-compression_2.5.1-ml4_mipsel.ipk
python-html_2.5.1-ml4_mipsel.ipk
enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport_1.0-r20_mipsel.ipk
ather that I made a folder in etc named epgimport
then I put rytec.sources.xml in etc/epgimport directory
from plugin I have marked skyit rytec
by pressing manual import,downloading is began when it is finished a massage is appeared that box must be restart.
epg.dat is made in hda1 but nothing is shown in epg list.

Hm, all correct.
You defined your epg.dat on your hdd with epg.dat?
Have you restart your Dreambox after install the plugin?

I have defined it epg.dat instead of gemini.epg.dat on epg menu.

Hm on my Dream functioned that everything immediately.
On you Post. When you download the EPG manuell (yellow button) you didn´t restart your Dream. The Script should merge the epg.dat.new with your epg.dat.
Finally 1 minute later you should have more events on Menu -> Informatuon -> EPG.

I must say the plugin works not really good and crashes my Dreambox.

Hab es nun versucht mit dem neuen Gemini zu installieren (Dreambox 8000)
Bei mir kommt aber folgender Fehler (Bild im Anhang)

Gibt es dafür eine Lösung?

wie stellt man es richtig ein?
nach reboot von enigma2 ist alles wieder weg.detto klappts nicht bei ARD,ZDF,etc.,nur bei SKY

renegade0107: ich habe das gleiche Problem, es scheint so dass xmltvimport nicht kompatibel mit dem neuen Gemini 5.0 (OE 1.6) ist.

Es ist das einzige Plug-in das ich benutze (und das sind viele) das nach dem Update nicht mehr funktionnierte

Da werden wir wohl auf ein Update von Rytec warten müssen.

Jup, die Fehlermeldung hatte ich heute auch, als ich versucht habe, das Plugin mit Gemini 5.0 zu installieren. Hoffentlich dauert's nicht allzu lange, bis es eine Lösung gibt.

es ist jammerschade - diese fehlende funktion ist der einzige und für mich (leider) auch wichtigste grund, nicht das gemini image zu benutzen. ich würde es so gern, bin aber auf ein epg von skyitalia und skyuk "angewiesen" - für mich ein k.o-kriterium!

Yep wurde schon damals gesagt, dass das Plugin mit OE 1.6 und den neuen CVS nicht funktioniert.
Ihr müsst das im Orginalforum melden!

Hat das jemals richtig mit Gemini getan. Bei mir hat sich die epg.dat täglich im laufenden Betrieb zerschossen!

na ja, im entsprechendem forum werden sie wohl auf gemini verweisen...und dass man solange nichts machen kann wie gemini völlig offen gelegt sei...

ja, hat mal ne zeit funktioniert, es gab aber auf der anderen seite kaum wirkliches interesse das anzupassen. vielleicht gibt es auch ganz einfach zu wenig interesse. da ich es nicht selber "anapssen" kann muss ich auf alternativen ausweichen. nicht meckern sondern selber machen...

Da ist eine lösung fur dieses problem aber nicht ohne risico's.

Ich bin nicht ganz fertig mit der handleitung so entschuldiging fur das aber Sie konnten mahl versuchen.

Copy the xmltv-importer plugin to the directory /tmp
Open a Telnet session to your dreambox, use therefor DCC or Putty or a DOSbox.
In this Telnet session type the following commands :

# ipkg install python-compression [enter]
# ipkg install enigm
# [TAB]
# --nodeps [enter]
# mkdir /etc/epgimport [enter]
Now copy the rytec.sources.xml with FTP to the directory /etc/epgimport
You have to configure Gemini 5.0 so it is able to read the EPG files (use the remote control):
Press Blue button, then settings, epg

After these settings have been made press the green button and restart Enigma.
Now see if you can add providerlists for the import.

That's perfectly normal, as the file name is longer, so I tried:

If I try to install the python zlib first, I get the following error:

In OE1.6 there is libpython2.6-1.0 so try to make a symbolic link from 2.5 to 2.6 directory.

I will have to install this GP5 too on a box to be able to try things too.

Strange, seems like there is already a symlink to libpython 2.5

Bitt versuche Sie via softwaremanager in Gemini die Python zlib und so weiter zu installieren und nachher unsere xmltv plugin.

well that is the problem - last time I tried to install them it gave me an error message.

Additionally, there's no option to install the Python zlib package using the Software Manager.

And can you try to install the python files with --nodeps this way you force ipk to install it.
