    hello, this is EPG charset fix on some CE stations (DVB-S and some DVB-T), this is result of 21 pages testing in original forum (see link, this update fix many CE stations/EPG charset problem...

    Yes, the same problem. When you press info in the movielist, you get correct charset. But you get wrong text if you play movie.

    There is a problem in UPC direct (19,2), in czech epg you can see this character: "ÆSpinavé práce", instead of this one: "Špinavé práce".
    Characters on Skylink and CSLink (23,5) are correct.

    1) first, move this file into next release 440


    2) second, please try to fix PVR bug, in pvr window Gemini not load encoding.conf file.


    Thanx for confirm. Tjis is simple workaround.


    Better is fix ISO/IEC 6937 - regular standard for EPG in this area is in this area (CZ, SK) ISO 6937 (Annex A of standard ETSI EN 300 468), if Enigma implement correctly this standard, then no problem with charset in EPG, this is really possible, for example Technisat work good and not have problem with EPG.

    I have problem with Czech Language encoding too. Please FIX IT! Best is fix ISO/IEC 6937 - regular standard for EPG

    oh mann, encoding.conf beinhaltet auch verbesserungen fuer turkische, polnische, ... transpoder
    dH. es geht um ein multisprachen globalen problem, nicht nur slowakische/tschechische epg

    und sovieso wenn in (movie_list) filmen_liste alles richtig angezeigt wird aber beim abspielen nich mehr dan handelt es sich um ein kleineres korektur, mann muss weder was erfinden oder neu programmieren, mann muss nur den teil programes was in liste fuenzt per copy/paste einfuegen in dem wiedergabe teil des programmes

    Danke, werde ich auch mal für die französischen Schweizer Sender testen, da werden (Gemini 4.3) teilweise auch falsche Zeichen gezeigt oder der Text verstückelt, könnte ja am selben Problem liegen...

    encoding.conf is sowieso transpoder abhaengig, wenn sich was aendert, muss man neu (tsid, onid) transpoder eingeben

    ok, Ghost from 'DMM' has changed the encoding.conf to get your EPG working. You have to change the encoding.conf in the link below or wait for the next CVS/Gemini Image.
