How can i flash the DM8000 when i hold the power button to get to the web flashing page it doest do anything just boots normally.
i cant use dreamup because when i open it says "no Com ports" and exits..
any ideas?

Read your manual or online at dmm homepage.
Press the power button and hold the "arrow down" button to access the flash modus.

box was powered off.
holding down the button on the front of the unit
turn mains power on (still holding down front button)
box just boots normally.
no *STOP* or anything.

Read it again and again and again.
Dont hold the power button, hold down the "arrow down" button.
