  • Hi, I have spent allready many hours trying to save movies to network drive. What Ihave done:

    1. Network drive I am using: Netgear NV+

    2. I mounted the via http – config CIFS, when I go to file browser inside the dreambox I can see the files on the network drive.

    3. What I am not capable is to change the “recording path“. In Enigma 1 there is not such a field, in Enigma 2 there is but it still want to use the flash inside the machine.

I have tried it on E1 Gemini 4.2 and also on E2 Gemini 4.7

Any ideas what I have done wrong?

  • Hello, I mount my CIFS resorce this way:

    Code
    mount -t cifs //192.168.0.1/Storage /mnt/cifs/ -o user=guest

Is it possible to add to /etc/fstab to mount on boot? I try it but there is no way to mount.

    Thanks and best regards.

  • Hi guys

What you describe works perfectly if the PC runs XP...but whatabout if yr PC runs Win7 ?
i've been fighting several hours against it...but finally, unable to make the whole thing work...
My box is E2 and it looks like the network neibourhood fails to discover the PC Hdd...hence, no sharing possible...
    ANybody tried it ?
