This update will open the Addon Download function.

New addon : WebMediaVlc 8.1 (see screenshot below). It works best with vlc 1.1.4 but may work with others. Youtube quality Medium works.

  • Hi pcd,

Thanks for your update. Your image is nice on the DM600PVR.

Please say if i am wrong:

    - With the old version, 6.2, it was possible to download an oscam EMU
via the Add-On Manager. (I am pretty sure)

    - In the 7.0 (updated) Image, i can not find oscam.

Is it right? So how can i install the oscam package to be sure to see ths emu in the deamon Manager.

    Thanks for your help

  • Hello,

thanks a lot PCD for the UpDate.

The AddOn Server have a problem. The most of the time are down and when are up, are very slow.

Can we download all them from any place and make manual install?

  • Dear all,

I just installed PCD 7.0 for my dm600 and I have some issues.

    1. when I navigate to "Download and install addons" I get a lot of text but no list appears with plugins. (network connections is tested and is ok)

    2. I have read that I have to install the basic software package before being able to download and use some plugins, but I can't find the basic software package.

    3. When I navigate to "DeamonManager Config" the start path is correct /user/script/dman, but when I push the Save/OK button enigma crashes with the green screen and restarts automatically.

It would be great if someone could help me out here.
Thanks a million. I can understand German, so if any reply is in German no problem at all.

    Cheers,

  • it looks like that the Addon-Server ist down. Since i have access from extern to the box it is not the internet connection in general

  • Hallo Pcd

Sorry have still the same error as posted yesterday, but namo seems to have access to the repository.

I have access to the box from extern (from the Internet) via http and ssh so it is not a connection problem.

Can you tell me the URL for the repository so i can check via telnet if the repository is avaiable?

Could i install via ipkg command on the commandline? Would be easier for me. Need The autotimer-Package

    Thanks Sahra

  • Attached. :)

  • Hello,

At first, very nice job you did!

Got 1 Problem: I get no streamin to my android device ( s3) for live tv - error with all players I tried but streaming from recorded movies works just very well... any Idea to this? Maybe a missing header or whatever?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Oli

  • The problem is not only the port, but also the format of the streaming URL. For enigma2 streaming, the apps build a URL like: http://192.168.x.x:8001/1:0:1:2B:2:85:C00000:0:0:0: but this image uses the enigma1 approach, the streaming URL looks like: http://192.168.x.x:31339/0,65,1ff,200. Note the difference in the port and format, it uses the channel pid with commas. We either need a change in the image or we need the mobile app developers to support this different streaming url.

  • Would it be possible replace the E2 Streamproxy on 8001 with an parser/portforwarder that take the link like http://192.168.x.x:8001/1:0:1:2B:2:85:C00000:0:0:0: convert it to the classic webif style like link http://127.0.0.1:31339/0,65,1ff,200. and port forward the resulting videostream?

That sounds much easier for me as begging all streaming client developer to build a special feature for us.

DreamDroid, DreamStream, Partnerbox, XBMC Tuxbox .... many People to ask

  • I have set up a "vlc server" to transcode the stream from box to an UMTS friendly (smaller) stream and watch it with the android VLC (beta) player on my mobile.

    Hi Amok,

Can you plase give a more detailed how-to - so that others can use the method ?

    Cheers, pcd.

  • Of course.

Here a quick n dirty mini howto:

    - on pc (I use a linux box, but windows is also fine) start a vlc with the following parameter set:

    Code
    vlc http://ip-of-your-dreambox/web/stream.m3u --sout "transcode{vcodec=h264,vb=768,scale=0.5,fps=25,acodec=mp3,ab=96,samplerate=22050}:standard{access=http{user=username,pwd=password},mux=ts,url=:8080}"

    - make a portforwarding in your router from your external ip port 8080 to the pc running vlc

    - install vlc beta on your phone and connect to the stream with a url like this:

    Code
    http://username:password@yourexternalip:8080

  • Nice, but that doesn't help if you want to use one Streaming Client from this list: DreamDroid, DreamStream, Partnerbox, XBMC Tuxbox or eqal.

I think all of this tools build the Streaming URL by grabbing the Servicelist and build his own Streaming URL out of the <e2servicereference></e2servicereference>
