Driver DWA D-link 110 for OE2.0

  • Try to find out what chipset is used in your wifi usb dongel.
Then search for driver in list that supports that chipset.

    Dreambox DM8000 HD PVR (HDD / DVD-rw / CF & Newnigma2-unstable) - DVB-T | UPC Horizon (Royaal HD).

  • Vendor=07d1 ProdID=3c07

EEh, do check the link that i gave..
    Just click on some drivers.
When you see something like will be part of x.x.x kernel, and the kernel number is 3.2 or lower, then you know that that driver is supported by the kernel.
And so any usb device with the chipset that is supported by choosen driver should work.

A hint: First generation DM8000 uses a ath driver, for Atheros chipsets. So i think a USb wifi module with Atheros chipset will work. See available devices. But because a enigma2 tuner is not a linux desktop i cannot garantee it work. When you get a usb wifi module named in supported devices then ask the store where you buy it, if you can get another type/model/manufactorer if it's not supported by your hardware.

If you connect wifi usb module, and reflash image, then you'll know soon enough if it works.

  • Hi,
look for kernel-module-rt73usb_3.2-r8.13-bsp1_dm800se.ipk in DMM feed or in your package-managements, this may do the job.

  • not work:(

  • There has been some recent changes into the oe2.0 in this regard, do opkg update && opkg upgrade also take into account this as well.

Wlan: some wlan drivers need a long time to get an ip, lets wait after activation

  • Do U use an usb Hub? If yes, try without the hub... The OE2.0 have problems with some usb hubs...
