Enigma2 Plugin MegaVideoPlayer v.2.0

    Hi Friends,


    Greetings ! :)


    As requested by some of you - I attach a updated version of the plugin MegaVideoPlayer.

    I have not tested any film to the end. But videos work ok.


    Important :- Megavideo videos (and films) cannot be streamed directly. Must be downloaded first.


    The method :-


    (1) Configure video type, movie type and cache folder path. The saved videos will be in folder /cache folder/megavideo.


    Also : configure "Stop download at Exit from plugin" - Yes/No


    (2) Select


    (3) Download


    (4) Play.


    Requires gst-plugin-flv in the image.

    I tested films on your new plugin.
    Some categories not work but more works.

    Are you sure?
    When I push Download and after few seconds Play I can play films and watch.

    If you are downloading a long file (like a film) - you may exit the plugin with


    Stop download at Exit from plugin - No.


    The downloading will continue. You can watch the item later with MediaCenter.

    pcd I mean I can watch films without downloading films on hard disk and without exit from the plugin.
    I push Download and after a few seconds Play and I can watch films.
    It's work like a streaming I think.

    Yes - I understand - it is like streaming. But if you look in folder /media/hdd/movie (with delete - "No") - I think you will find the film downloaded as mega.mpg. You can then - rename it - and keep for future - if you wish.

    Hi pcd, nice plugin!
    I had been looking for quite some time to access Megavideo via my Dreambox.
    It works as described!
    The one thing I don't understand: how do I access a specific video or search for titles, keywords, etc.? The lists offered are... well, not all I'm looking for.
    So, how would I go about searching for "Spooks" (british spy series) for example?
    Is there a parameter, a config file or even a menu?
