Dm 7000s bootet nicht mehr hoch

    Hallo,


    I have a Dm7000S with boot problem. He display only Dream Multimedia logo. On the HyperTerminal I have only “Dreambox DM7000” and nothing else.
    I try with jtag and Processors and memory are ok, I write and was ok…
    Any ideas?

    If I use HyperTerminal...I have only: Dreambox DM7000

    Hi,
    flash reset is done my pressing the key up or down (don´t know which) direct at the box when you switch it on. You should see a message "flash erase" on the display and then the initial settings are active again if you are lucky.

    I try this now...on the key up, the light is dim(low light) after logo Dm.
    With key up...same.

    usually there is nothing broken, you have to flash the boot-loader, before flashing a new image ..


    maybe someone here can explain it how to do, as i have no idea about doing this.

    YES…Finally I manage to connect DreamUP to box. Some time the box don’t display nothing on LCD and I find less voltage on the pin no.1 on IC6001 (2,5V) must be 3,3V, checking input on pin no.8, was less than 5V. I change the C6008 and the box boot ok with Dm logo.
    But I can’t erase the flash and I can’t write a new flash. Pls. see the picture.

    I think the 28F640 is defective…

    You have right...I make a mistake, IC6001 pin no.1 it's 4,87V, same on pin 4 and 6 of ATmega.
    I believe this 28F640 is defective because can't erase...
    I found a cheaper model JS28F640J3D75.

    The IC6002 when starts, after box boot? On the pin no.4 I have 22,1V and on the pin no.5 0V. The control pin no.2 it's high...2,4V
