To get the discrete on/off and deep standby functions with the original DM8000 remote, you can program the corresponding codes as follows :
First, press the "Dream" key.
Assign the Discrete "On" code to the shifted "Arrow up" key by pressing the following keys :
"Shift" (long press) "9" "9" "4" "Shift" (short press) "0" "0" "0" "0" "9" "Shift" (short press) "Arrow up"
Assign the Discrete "Off" code to the shifted "Arrow down" key by pressing the following keys :
"Shift" (long press) "9" "9" "4" "Shift" (short press) "0" "0" "0" "1" "7" "Shift" (short press) "Arrow down"
Assign the Discrete "Deep Standby" code to the shifted "Arrow left" key by pressing the following keys :
"Shift" (long press) "9" "9" "4" "Shift" (short press) "0" "0" "0" "3" "3" "Shift" (short press) "Arrow left"
Now, pressing "shift" (short) then "Arrow up" will switch the DM8000 on, "shift" (short) then "Arrow down" will switch the DM8000 off and "shift" (short) then "Arrow left" will immediately put the DM8000 in deep standby mode , regardless of its current state.
It is possible to assign the codes to other shifted keys (or even unshifted), but not to shifted "0" and shifted "1" as for the 7025 remote.
Notice that as some shifted keys already have functions assigned to them, I have selected the safe shifted "Arrow" keys as they had no assignment.
