Hi, I have problems with my 7025 freezing during Boot. I have Gemini 2 image installed and boot halts showing gemini logo. Network is OK.

I have tried flashing new image with the lates dream up, but when powering up DB, dream up still displays "power up ypur DB"
Flash wizard pro connects nicely to the dreambox..?? What am I missing?

I also tried with nul-moddem cable with the same results.. (No connection).. this is the same cable I used to install the Gemini image..

Please help..!!

Hi!

Have you tried to flash your 7025 with the web interface?

switch off the box and hold the down key on the front of the box

pressed when you switch it on.........

now you see a message in the display.......

if you can see an ip .........192.168.2.21 and the word stop you

can connect to the box with a web browser........

now type this ip in your browser an a webscreen from the 7025 will appear......

go on flash an the to the directory where you have the image to install

hope you understand!

Regards

Guano

I think this is hardware error

Try to flash it using the web interface if it fails so u have a hardware error as it is not responding to network , dreamup, nor nullmodem cable.

Plz post your result

Greetings

You could try to connect the box with RJ45 AND serial
then launch dreamup, enter the ip address of your dreambox in Dreamup
connect with dreamup button
then switch on your dream, dreamup should display the ident of your dreambox
good luck

Thank you all for your help and good hints!

I did not know that a web browser was present in the 7025.
A new image is flashed and I am ready to configure the DB again..

Thank you!
