{Solved} Cross EPg and GP2 V5

Wir haben aktuell ein Problem mit dem Board und arbeiten an der Lösung...

UPDATE: Das Problem scheint behoben, wir beobachten das noch :)

    I post the solution for anyone with a similar setup..
    To run crossepg with GP2 V5.0


    1. Ftp the attached modified plugin to your Dreambox ( temp folder will do).
    2. Under blue panel use file manager, locate the the file you sent to your box and install it. (green button).
    3. restart enigma.
    4. the plugin will appear under menu-setup as usual.
    5. setup your plugin and choose the hdd for location of saved epg data.
    6. in blue panel / settings/epg set as follows:
    - Private == on.
    - Cashfile enable == on.
    - file name == epg.dat
    - Place == /media hda1 (or something similar meaning your HDD).
    7. long press blue button and select crossepg to download the epg data.

    Short question.


    Do the plugin Cross EPG work with Astra 19,2 only ?
    For example for Eurosport.
    Or do I need more SAT's to get the EPG information ?


    That is not clear for me. Where coming from the EPG information ?


    I have only Astra 19,2 and would like have the EPG information for Eurosport.

    At point 5 when I highlight where to save epg data and press enter, I get a green page error and box restart ..

    Cross EPG is the only thing I am missing in the Gemini Image.
    Would be great if it would be implemented one day :tongue:

    Yes you can. I managed to make it work with net on dm500hd and usb on dm8000...
    you need to do a little manual editing of crossepg config...
    install crossepg as instructed above.
    enter configuratio at leat once so cross epg creates the file "/usr/crossepg/crossepg.config"
    chabge the line :
    db_root=/media/net/airport/crossepg (to the path you want)
    then edit the epg throug bluepanel->config->epg set the file name to
    [db_root]/ext.epg.dat (example in my case: /media/net/airport/crossepg/ext.epg.dat)
    usually you should set the "place" as /media/net/airport/ and add "/crossepg/ext.epg.dat" to the file name
    the edit
    crossepg_epgmove.sh rem every line since you will not need to copy the file anymore...
